• Registering new letter of credit to the system after reviewing the customer application and pointing the main factors of what makes the letter of credit eligible for registration, which consist of the amount, signature verification, expiry date, the applicants beneficiary is local or foreign, shipment is sea, air or land and eventually generate a new letter of credit number to follow up with the contract created in result.
• Using SWIFT to send important messages between banks in the cases of verifying signatures, decrease of the amount, cancellation of LC, paying LC advising charges, amendment charges and checking if we have an alliance relationship management with the foreign banks.
• Using HUB payment website to pay for local charges, or charge local banks.
• Creating the LC contracts depending on the information presented by the application presented, using the templates of clauses and main documents stated on the application.
• Calculating the charges for creating the LC contract with different rate for local and foreign.
• Sending draft copies of the contract to the applicant to review and confirm the contract.
• Sending the issued contract copy to both beneficiary and applicant.
