• Develop Projects that proactive in expanding the potential prospects and also reactive and responsive to The TAO information infrastructure; By oversee the Information and research areas, working with concerned Unit (s) Staff to set priorities against TAO goals,
including planning for the Project.
• Provide research & information on demand and through regular updates by leveraging
credible sources internal and external to government.
• Maintain the Information Centre, a central electronic depository for data & analysis, final and working documents of the TAO, and external data & research; ensuring the PM and
TAO maintain access to accurate and timely information.
Major Tasks: • Respond to ad-hoc research & information requests from the PM, the TAO and other
ministers who have to speak on behalf of the whole government
• Provide research & information for input into other TAO units' regular deliverables
• Maintain up-to-date briefings (data, information and analysis) in an electronic format
covering key policy areas, key groups of people and the five geographic constituencies
• Build and maintain the Information Centre (electronic depository)
• Identify gaps in the national information infrastructure and propose improvements
• Initiate and develop projects to expand and develop the information infrastructure
available to TAO.
