1. Worked on a grant as researcher to collect data related to training offer about flipped classroom to the faculty members,
a. designed and conducted surveys for before and after the training to see the satisfaction and improvement needs for the training,
b. Interviewed faculty as focus groups to ask in-depth questions about their experience in the training,
c. Choosing surveys to see the connection of the perceptions between the faculty and their students and how flipped classroom effect the teaching and learning process.
Additionally, my dissertation topic is focused on the group of faculty who received the flipped classroom training and I am observing both the instructor and the students on line and at class practices. Then I am interviewing the faculty and the group of the students to discover the perceptions of this new instructional model and its impact on their engagement in the class.
1. helping by transferring content to the blackboard to make it available to the students, creating assignments and timed quizzes, posting media that related to the content or choosing some resources that help students to understand the content to operate students’ discussion board, grading the work and posting the grades, and contacting the students through post announcements in Blackboard or contacting via emails to guide them or solve any problem related to the blackboard or the content of the course. The students in the courses were mostly from countries that didn’t yet use technology in educational settings which often led to to very basic questions about the system and to help them by email or get together to help them solve their issues with the LMS. . I was a part of an intensive class of instructional design to help in explaining the content to the students and the theories related to the instructional design. I guided a large number of graduate level students to do projects in this class and follow the line of instructional design.
