Senior Procurement & Logistic Supervisor

Sr. Supply Chain & Logistic Supervisor (Import/Export)
Responsibilities in the Procurement:-
• Responsible for purchasing Local & overseas orders as well as supplier relations, cost negotiation and ensuring minimizing the shipping and logistic cost to optimize the profit margin to the company.
• Responsible for sourcing new suitable suppliers and vendors of products and services at competitive prices also involving to manage all suppliers’ contracts.
• Ensuring ongoing plans are in effect with key suppliers to improve the Performance across Quality, Cost, Logistics, Development, and Management (QCLDM).
• Ensure that the supply chain plan meets sales requirements by coordinating with the Products/Marketing Department.
• Developed periodically report to analyze data and forecast product demands which lead to a successful flow of the products as well as the closing of any gaps between demand and supply chain.
• Increased overall team and work performance by formulating KPI’s (key performance indicators), and implementing SOP’s (Standard Operating procedures).
• Handling trade finance such as letter of credit, DA & DP to confirm the payment In the Local and overseas orders.
Responsibilities in the Logistic: Freight/Clearance for Import & Export
• Work effectively in co-ordination with Clearance & Freight agent.
• Effectively follow up on day to day custom clearance.
• Shipment tracking (ETA, Sea, Air & Courier Tracking number Etc.)
• Strategies to reduce Storage, demurrage, and detention charges.
• Scrutiny of shipping documents such as Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading & Certificate of origin, Etc. as per Doha customs regulation.
• Handling LCL, FCL, Airfreight, Courier & land including consolidated shipments.
• Negotiating with Customs for clearing issues with regards to the shipment.
• Obtaining the Customs approval for Imports & Exports such as Chamber attestation, Customs approval, Duty Exemption, DG-EPC, Metrology, QCD & ICT approval.
