Project: Construction of barrage with radial gates and bridge across Godavari River near Annaram, Telangana-India (INR 16 Billion, Client: I & CAD).
• Controlling the quality of work on site according to the Project specifications & BIS Codes.
• Random Checking of Site Activities as per checklists & Specifications and quality measures should be provided as per Indian Standards.
• Preparation and maintenance of test reports, all QC registers etc, arrange & update Calibration of Test Equipments as per project quality plan.
• Taking on site test of concrete for workability & checking steel reinforcement according to drawings and project specifications.
• Conducting Soil and Concrete Core tests on site along with client as per project specifications.
• Co ordination with the execution team for smooth running of the project and playing key role in delivering the concrete on time.
• Inspection of field activities as per approved inspection plans before start of any activity and give clearance after all observations are complied.
• Controlling the production of concrete at plants to achieve desired results.
• Reporting to the relevant discipline manager regarding the performance of QA activities.
Construction of 4428 2BHK units in C+Stilt+9 Floors, 40 towers for The Government of Telangana, India (INR 3.09 Billion, Client: GHMC).
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Taking on site test of concrete for workability & checking steel reinforcements according to drawings.
•Quality inspection of residential buildings and implement quality plan & ISO procedures on site.
•Training the Staff on QA/QC Procedures and managing QC lab on site.
•Prepare material testing check list, maintaining cube register, material sampling register, water, rejected material register, slump register, etc.
•Conduct material tests regularly and checking the concrete quality at the RMC Plant, quality measures should be provided as per Indian Standards.
•Co ordination with all engineering department staff, Govt. Authorities and material suppliers.
•Material testing as and when required from external lab, Identify and report deviations.
•Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable BIS Codes
Internal Signages for Dubai International Airport, Terminal-III.
•Structural Over Head Gantries for Muscat International Airport Road, Oman.
•Structural Steel Gantries & Traffic Signs with precast foundations for RTA Road works.
•Structural Steel Trusses for various clients.
•Site boundary fencing with foundation for various clients.
•Internal & Way finding Signage for various projects in Dubai, Abu Dhabi & Oman.
•Project Sign Boards for various Construction Site works.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Preparing bills of quantities for various items of the works such as heavy Steel Gantry Structures, Trusses, Traffic Signs, Internal Signage, large Hoarding Structures, Precast Concrete Piles & Cast-In-Situ Foundations.
•Taking off quantities manually as well as by using Auto CAD software and prepare quotations.
•Estimating the material and labour for each project.
•Prepare material forecast for the awarded tenders.
•Assist the Senior Quantity Estimator to finalize the prepared quotations.
•Regular updating the market prices for cost analysis and follow RTA Design Standards.
•Structural Modeling, Analyzing & Designing of over head Gantries using Staad.Pro and discuss design related issues with Engineering Manager.
•Preparing tender and contract documents, receiving all enquiries from clients
PROJECTS HANDLED:
• Proposed 5 Floors Consisting of B+G+3TYP, 3BHK Residential Apartment building in Hyderabad, India.
• Proposed 6 Floors Consisting of G+5TYP for Srinivasa Educational Society, Residential Hostel Apartment for Boys in Hyderabad, India.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
• Taking on site test of concrete for workability & checking steel reinforcements according to drawings.
• Preparation and maintenance of test reports, all QC registers etc
• Establish & Maintain Quality control lab at Site.
• Reconciliation of reinforcement steel/rebars.
• Taking off quantities against drawings and preparing bills of quantities.
• Find out the actual work done against the estimated values and make sure to claim accurate values against the percentage of work done.
• Co-ordinating and updating the project head about the work progress.
• Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports on work progress.
• Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors and the general workforce involved in the project.
