CCTV and Access Control
Using the latest emerging technology to install, configure and operate 92 CCTV system including 7/24 local and remote monitoring environment for all sites with real time backup capability. This project provided security monitoring in real time to two main buildings for the municipality of Damascus suburb. The solution includes 92 CCTV color internal and external cameras and all other supportive hardware for monitoring, recording and backups of surveillance images.
Task: Providing all aspects of project management and technical supervision for executing the project.

Automatic Vehicle Location System & Fleet Management System

Using GPRS & GPS technologies allocate, monitor and manage vehicles on fields. Sensory input and output from vehicles and vice versa provide the system with the row messages to be processed for the purpose of intercommunication. This project include installation of 1100 Intelitracs AVLS device on QP vehicles. The device is equipped with a dual GPRS intercommunication to send and receive singles to/from vehicles. Also it works as an Auto location System using the GPS capability.
The in-house developed software based on processing the row messages from vehicles. The final output is to be displayed on the PC running the software (THIN CLIENT) for monitoring and reporting purpose. Another version of the software is THICK CLIENT for administration purpose. Part of the applications developing technology was to use the advanced GIS mapping system based on ESRI software technologies. The geo-database (ArcGIS, ArcSDE) is used to maintain all the spatial and relational information using SQL or ORACLE database

Mobile Data Terminal & AVLS

Using GPRS & GPS technology to allocate and manage vehicles routes, also interacting with MOI database for the purpose of enquiry on vehicles and persons. The Vehicle locating System used the advance GIS mapping system based on ESRI software technologies. The geo-database (ArcGIS, ArcSDE) is used to maintain all the spatial and relational information using SQL or ORACLE database.

Citybus AVLS/FMS Project

The FMS/PTMS project consists of GPS based Real-time Automatic Vehicle Location System (AVLS) to track and manage Citybus fleet which consists of 250 transit buses and more than 4000 bus stops. The buses are monitored and managed in real time at the state of the art control centre located at the citybus head quarter.
The operation Room is equipped with advanced GIS mapping system based on ESRI software technology. The GIS system integrates with the AVL Ticketing and Scheduling Systems. At the core solution is a relational geospatial database which is referred as the geo-database (ArcGIS, ArcSDE). The geo - database manages and is used to maintain all the spatial and relational (using Microsoft SQL or ORACLE) information for the whole solution and includes:
• Routes
• Stops
• Stations
• Streets
• Landmarks
• Neighborhoods Admin Boundary
• Block Admin Boundary
• Real- time location information

In order to facilitate future interoperability with new specialist packages for transportation, the PTMS solution is based on a standard transportation data model from ESRI. The mapping features as well displays the routes, bus stops and real time location information in schematic view.

This project includes the installations of 375 MDT on police vehicles with in house developed frontend application to operate the device. Also preparation for an operation room at the MOI designated location in order to monitor and instruct vehicles operators. ID card issuance center

This project centered on the preparation of the ID issuance center to print highly secured ID cards for all MOI employees. This includes 16 work stations for database entry, two database & backup servers, three zebra i640 plastic card printers, and printing consumables (PVC composite plastic cards, YMCK printing ribbons and holograms security ribbons).
Using in-house developed card printing software and local Microsoft SQL database entry server interacted with the ministry DB2 database to inquire and update the employee’s information using MS query technology. The final issued card maintains a highly secured printing attributes to identify holders (Holograms, Mag strips and 2D barcodes).
