Army Welfare Trust (AWT)is a Welfare Society registered under the Societies Registration
Act, 1960 to provide for the welfare of citizen of Pakistan Army and as well as their families
who are serving or have served in Pakistan Army and also including Civilian Employees of the
Armed Forces and their dependents.
Working as part of a team that is responsible for making sure that the flow of costs and
revenues between the various department, regions and people is accurately accounted for
and managed.
Major duties and responsibilities:
* Managing General ledger, including accruals and prepayments.
* Managing statutory returns.
* Coordinating internal/external audits.
* Communicating clearly and effectively with the accounts team.
* Monthly / quarterly management accounts preparation. Assisting in the
* preparation of year‐end accounts for Head Office.
* Evaluation the financial reporting and accounting procedure.
* Presentation of the periodical updates to the Chief Executive Officer and Managing
Director.
* To check, post and verify the premature withdrawals and refunds.
* To assist top management in decision relating to Finance and Accounts.
* Introduction and formulation of new standardized pay roll system according to the
rules.
* Check and supervise the employees’ Terminal benefits (Provident Fund, Gratuity,
Benevolent Fund, leaves etc.)
* Periodically check and sign the books of accounts.
* Managing the Reconciliation of the customer/investor accounts.
* Preparation of Annual Budget Forecasts.
* Established and maintaining all fixed / current assets inventories.
* Liaison with Head Office (AWT), banks, other financial institutions and organizations.
* To assist checking / verifying the quarterly / six monthly profit working.
* Analysis of return on Investment, management of funds and budget
* variances analysis.
* Submission of monthly / daily reports to Chief Executive and MD ‐ AWT
Major duties and responsibilities:
* Control and supervise the books of accounts.
* Watch and reconcile Account Payable & Account Receivable
* Collect the monthly data to formed variance report.
* Preparation & Finalization the annual Financial report of the Company
* Preparation fund flow, Bank Reconciliation & other statement required by the
Management.
* Preparation of Final Accounts.
* Conduct the company affairs being the unit was a Private limited Company.
* Deal with the letter of credit to the concern bank and the importer.
* File the return of the sales and income tax.
* Financial Analysis/Comparison and reporting according to top management’s
requirements.
* To reconcile the raw material and finished goods( different ratio analysis)
* Stock Taking (100 %) of Raw Materials, Finished / Semi Finished Goods, and Stores
Major duties and responsibilities:
* Preparation of Budgets Forecasts & Feasibility Reports.
* Preparation of Payroll.
* Financial Analysis of various reports / investment proposals.
* Preparation of Details for tax return and appeals.
* Check inventory record and store.
* Deduction and deposit of Withholding Tax on Supplies, freight, services, salaries etc.
* Monthly, Quarterly, annually statements of withholding taxes.
* Issuance of Tax Deduction Certificates to Employees / Suppliers.
* Inventory Management.
* Preparation and reconciliation of Raw Materials, Productions & Sales.
* Check all Banks, cash & Journal Vouchers.
* Calculating Mark‐up on loans and processing case(s) for payment thereof.
Maintenance of record of Advances.
* Preparation of Trial Balance.
* Watch the Market Accountancy & check all the claims of customers.
* Preparation Annual Financial Statements.
* Implement the Internal Control.
