Perform Materials receiving inspection of swithracks, panel racks, panel boards, Remote
terminal units, circuit breakers, dry type transformers, cathodic protection transformer
rectifiers, cathodic protection cable, grounding enhancement materials, anodes, battery enclosure, above grade & below grade conduits, and overhead power line materials(poles, ACSR, power cables, cut outs, cross arms )
Perform preservation according to manufacturer’s recommendations.
Raise NCR in reference to any violation.
Prepare RFI log, NCR log and OSD(overusage, shortage and damage) report & share the
comments with responsibles as per SAEP 380 and review documentations.Review test certificates, inspection release certificates, punch lists, delivery note, purchase order, materials requisition, specifications, catalogues, datasheets, drawings, UL verifications & hazardous classification.
Ensure that the material receiving, installation, testing inspections are carried out according
to Quality Control Plans/Inspection Test Plans.
Ensure Compliance With the requirements of the contract scope of work, technical
specification and contract quality plan as it applies to E&I work.
Verify the compliance of the equipment with applicable standards and specifications prior
to release to be used as part of the work..
Ensure that project relevance materials and equipment are properly received , handled &
preserved.
Prepare and notify the client of two week look ahead electrical inspection schedule.
Identify the nonconformance, initiate NCR & recommend corrective and preventive action.
Initiate a kick-off meeting(Quality control toolbox) with all concerned parties to ensure full
understanding on the execution, requirements and control of the activity.
Prepare, NCR log, RFI log, equipment monitoring log.
Ensuring that Contractor fully complying the Company Quality requirement as per the
Schedule Q.
Prepare technical queries.
.Document review as received for material receiving, installation, preservation and testing
inspection activity of 13.8KV Cable , 13.8KV switchgear, 13.8KV power and distribution
transformer, MCC, Battery, and UPS system 480V switchgear, low voltage panel
boards, DC panel boards, PSA, DCS, Cable bus, MCT’s, cable trays, PLTC cables, control
cables, low voltage cables, fire detection & alarm system, BMS, Combustible gas detection cables, low voltage cables, fire detection & alarm system, BMS, Combustible gas detection
system, Grounding system, Lighting & lightning system etc.
Monitor and inspect field construction activities on a day to day basis to ensure the
installation follows the approved drawings, specification and applicable codes.Inspect,
monitor and oversee all hook-up phase electrical and instrumentation activities.Coordinate
with other discipline mechanical, civil and telecomm.
Supervision of Installation, Termination & Testing of field instruments, U/G and A/G
conduits, cable trays and tubing for instruments, Instruments lab calibrations, marshaling
panel and cabinets. Co-ordination of Installation and pre-commissioning of various
equipment and monitoring systems. Associated with Loop Checking, Testing / Pre-commissioning activities of all types of instruments. Prepare quality control inspection and
test reports for final testing and inspection.
Inspection of works which are based on project specifications, standards, approved ITP
and engineering drawings that were done by the construction group or subcontractors.
Technical Bids Evaluation.
Bring observed non-conformances to the attention of the 'Site Quality Lead'. Ensure that
proper action is taken to protect equipment from contamination and mechanical damage
Review all the materials submittals. Implement Method Statement prior for work
execution as per project standard and specifications.
BOQ & Variation Order confirmation and Approval.
Closely monitor site daily activities to ensure quality of work is in compliance with the
approved shop drawings and specification. Perform proactive surveillance to minimize or
avoid discrepancy and non conformance (NC) rectification, cost and time.
Active involvement in weekly meetings with Project manager, consultant and contractors
to resolve the site related issues.
Inspection of materials for electrical as per the approved drawing.
Ensures all works are carried out according to contract specifications, approved drawings, Preparation of quality management plan and checklists.
Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly Reports.
Maintaining the calibration log for equipment.
Inspection as per approved ITP, drawings and specifications.
Raising INCR’s, & follow up the closing NCR given by client.
Prepare and Implement method of statement, procedure and ITP and checklists for the
Different activities.
Low voltage, medium voltage, high voltage & control cable pulling, Cable laying, trench
excavation, sand bedding, backfilling & compaction. Access road compaction
Pole erection, alignment, Dressing, clipping, Stringing, Sagging, Framing, Jumpering,
cable termination, transformer installation.
Anode and cathode junction box installation & inspection.
Inspection of materials for cathodic protection & OHPL & its installation.
Termination in RMU, switchgear, MCC.
Precommisioning of OHPL (Megger test, Continuity test, Phase sequence test, IR test,
Hipot test of MV cable).
MV cable splicing, OPGW splicing & termination in junction box.
Materials take off from IFC.Preparation of Invoice, Schedule daily activities, Follow up with
safety, quality and construction team.
Coordination with main contractor as well as Saudi Aramco PID, LPD and PMT.
Inspection, installation & repair of submersible pumps, high & low level sensor, blower fan
, belt, motor dampers solenoid valve, float valve, gate valve, ball valve, rel ay, contactors,
filter, regulator, pressure switches, filter media & evaporative media. Chemical dozing of
evaporative media .Inspection of control panel for dessert cooler. Service of Fan Coil Unit,
Air Handling Unit, gate valve. Installation of dry type air core Current limiting reactor, post
insulators & cable laying &termination.Continuitytest.PolarityTest. Testing of motor, pump,
RCD, Contactors sensor, solenoid valve. Control panel erection, dismantling, Loop
checking, termination, dressing, cable identification & precommissioning. Service of
Genset.Change of oil filter, air filter, engine oil (SW-40).
Electricaldesigning include the following. Sizing of cables, breaker, cable tray, conduit, &
Outlet boxes.Preparation of drawing such as cable routing, lighting layout, receptacle
layout, earthing, lightning layout .Preparation of lists such as equipment, cable schedule,
load list.30%, 60% and 90 % design review. Coordinate MEP drawings to avoid any
conflict. Preparation of red mark up and as built drawing as per the actual. Perform
electrical power system study.Awarness of hazardous area classification and conversant
with NEC, IEC, IEEE, NEMA, NETA ETC
