The Al Rayyan Road Project 7, Contract 2, West of Olympic R/A to West of New Rayyan R/A is a large infrastructure worth 3.5B QAR consist the following; bridges, underpasses, tunnels, electrical substations, cable tunnels, ITS, electrical lighting, traffic signals, landscaping, attenuation tank, wet & dry utilities
Duties & Responsibilities:
• In the absence of QA/QC Manager, initiate weekly QA/QC meeting with the contractor/subcontractor, discusses all the activities, KPI’s and recommend technical solutions for any problems encounter at site.
• Review and approve all contractor/subcontractor PQP and other related quality documents, such as ITP, Method Statement, etc.
• Conduct external & internal audits.
• Manage the QA/QC of the works on site.
• Monitor subcontractor on quality of work submissions and records as such to ensure compliance with client requirements.
• Directs, trains and supervises the civil inspectors.
• Perform Management & Quality Control of all materials and related activities in construction across.
• Visit factories / conduct FAT to ensure proper manufacture and testing of materials produced.
• Hold the responsibility for the review and approval of all material submission by the contractor.
• Advice the Senior Resident Engineer, Project Manager and the Resident Engineer of any material incident or occurrence which may adversely affects the success of the project and provides technical solution.
• Review and approve in timely manner the unbound pavement, concrete, asphalt mix design and all related civil documents; inspection test plan, method statement and concrete pour plan.
• Witness testing and ensure that all materials are tested to the required specified frequencies.
• Ensure that all the materials to be used on the project are in accordance with project specifications.
• Liaising with the QA/QC Manager/Engineer to flag and certify any issues which may affect the quality of the works.
• Ensuring non-compliant works are re-tested, remedied or removed and Non-Compliance Report (NCR) is closed out.
The project is about the construction of Sewerage Network for Musaimer & Ain Khalid Area Sewerage Projects, lies within Musaimeer and Ain Khalid catchment, Doha-Qatar. This construction consists of micro-tunneling (pipes ranges from 500mm dia to 1000dia.), pumping station PS 44A, trunk & internal sewer lines, house connections, concrete manholes in various sizes and asphalt reinstatement works.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Prepare PQP and review and approve all contractor/subcontractor PQP and other related quality documents, such as ITP, Method Statement, etc.
• Supervising team of inspectors distributed on three sites.
• Issue NCR with regards to site activities and material related conditions deviated from the contract/standard specifications and follow up till close out.
• Managing the daily works / inspections carried out by inspectors.
• Monitor subcontractor on quality of work submissions and records as such to ensure compliance with client requirements.
• Carry out site inspections and audits.
• Officiate weekly QA/QC meeting with the contractor/subcontractor, discusses all the activities, and recommend workable solutions for any problems encounter at site.

The construction of MSF Desalination Plant and Boilers A1 & B2 - New Water Island at Ras Abu Fontas, Wakra, Doha-Qatar consists of site preparation works (earthmoving, embankment & grading), various buried wet utilities (storm drainage, sewerage, chemical & oily pipeline works), buried onshore & offshore GRP pipelines works (GRP pipe ranges from 100mm dia to 1800mm dia.), firefighting lines (pipe ranges from 50mm to 500mm dia.), concrete manholes in various sizes, asphalting works with landscaping (gravel & interlocking paving works) CO2, Air compressor, seawater & potable pump house with pre-engineered buildings, electrical service building with transformer compounds, remi plant, pipe rack concrete foundation with steel structural works, cable trenches works.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Execute QA/QC initiatives and measures across a portfolio of projects ensuring compliance to PQP / QA/QC procedures.
• Review and approve subcontractor PQP, QA/QC plans, Inspection & Test Plans and other project QA/QC documents.
• Ensure control of quality of all civil work activities performed by contractor / sub-contractor.
• Implement, monitor, oversee and maintain PQP, quality manual, inspection & test plans and method statement based on contract specifications.
• Conduct timely inspection meetings to resolve quality control problems and to discuss inspection schedule with the subcontractors.
• Lead and mentor the QA/QC Engineers and Inspectors, to ensure the effective implementation of the PQP requirement systems, principles and objectives.

It consists of geotechnical works, site preparation, piling works (bored piling with a 1000 mm dia. x 14 m depth), probing & grouting of cavities and shallow foundation using ground improvement.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Ensure that the organization’s QMS conforming to client, internal, ISO 9001 and regulatory / legal documents.
• Report to top management of the performance of QMS.
• Coordinate QA/QC matters with the Client’s team.
• Supervising team of quality inspector on site.
• Carry out site inspections and audits.
• Review and approve concrete design mix to be used in the projects.
• Responsible to client for concrete trial mixes, inspection and testing of concrete materials and ensure that concrete mixes is properly produced, placed, cured and protected

The project is about the construction of MED at RAK, Ajman (5 Desalination & 5 Boilers) additional desalination plant and Al Taweelah A1 (14 units x 3.77 MIGPD) - Independent Water & Power Project, Emirates of UAE. The construction consists of three units condensate storage carbon steel capable for 300m3, bored piling works varies from 450mm to 600mm dia. x 16m depth, soil investigation & survey works, 5 units of Heat Recovery Boiler plants, Chemical/distillate treatment and seawater pump house with pre-engineered buildings, electrical service buildings with transformer compounds, Hypo Chlorination building, site preparation (earthmoving, excavation, embankment & grading works), wet utilities (storm drainage, sewerage, chemical & oily pipelines works - pipes ranges from 100mm dia. to 400mm dia.), buried onshore & offshore GRP pipelines works (pipes ranges from 75mm to 2000mm dia) firefighting lines works, cast in-situ / precast concrete manholes in various sizes, asphalt road and landscaping(gravel & interlocking paving works) Air compressor, seawater & potable pump house with pre-engineered buildings, street lighting concrete foundation, pipe rack concrete foundation with steel structural works, concrete cable trenches works, 4 x 63m dia. x 17.2m high storage carbon steel tanks with concrete ring wall foundations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Participate in all aspects for the project cycle from design, setting out, construction and testing.
• Liaise with the site team, operations, support, commercial/procurement etc. to ensure contract QA/QC compliance.
• Review design, spec, manufacturers, suppliers and subcontractors submissions and information to ensure compliance and highlight any potential issues.
• Facilitate updated information to the civil contractor/subcontractor concerning civil related document submitted to the client and all approved, approved with comments by the client.

The project is about the construction of Al Taweelah Water Transmission Scheme Phase B Project at Ajban, Sweihan & Al-Ain, Emirates of Abu Dhabi, UAE. The project is a water substation/transmission that will supply the three towns in Abu Dhabi. This project consists of 8 units concrete water storage tanks capable for 5 MIG, site preparation works (includes excavation, earthmoving, embankment, grading works), peripheral boundary HCB wall, water pump house, diesel generator with pre-engineered building, control & switchgear buildings with transformer compounds, chlorination building, buried onshore ductile iron pipeline (2500mm dia), firefighting lines, wet & dry utilities, street lighting concrete foundation, cable concrete trenches, asphalt road and interlocking paving works.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Raise IR’s and liaises with consultant / owner representative for conducting of day-to-day inspections of the project, such as setting out, excavation, embankment, deforms bars installation, shutter/formworks control, concreting, hollow blocks laying, plastering, painting, waterproofing, and etc.
• Reviews and recommend approval to Project Manager all the pertaining materials submittals by the contractor
• Attest the correctness of various civil material tests results.
• Monitor materials sampling and testing carried out by the contractor.
• Review and approve all pertaining soil, concrete, asphalt site test results.
• Ensure that all the materials to be used on the project are in accordance with project specifications.
• Responsible to the Senior Material Engineer all aspects of material submittals by contractor/subcontractor.

• Ensure that all the materials being delivered and used in the project are in accordance to the project technical specifications as approved by the client / owner.
The project is about the construction of MSF and Reverse Osmosis Desalination Plant situated at Shoaiba & Yanbu, KSA respectively. This project consists of seawater intake with pre-engineered building, collecting & discharge concrete reject water disposal system, seawater intake bell-mouth, buried offshore GRP pipelines, backwash concrete tank, concrete dual media filter, concrete filter water clear-well, 3-storey R.O. office building with control / switchgear room and transformer compounds, refurbishment of acid storage tank building, sunshades for auxiliary buildings, wet & dry utilities, asphalt / cement pavement works, cable trenches.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Ensure Quality Management System is implemented throughout the course of the project.
• Prepare Method Statement, ITP and other related QA/QC documents.
• Ensure that the quality objectives are adhered to.
