Design Engineering
Main sectors of experience covers Design, Detail and Construction Engineering, Procurement, Project Management, Installation, Testing, Erection, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Engineering survey, Maintenance and Troubleshooting in the field of Oil & Gas Industry and Pipelines.
Preparation of Tender documents and supervision/review of EPC contractor’s deliverables.
Review of PFD and P&ID’s.
Preparation of RFQs / Purchase Specifications for Instruments & Control Systems (PLC, CCTV System, MOV Control System, PAGA system, Well head control panel etc.).
Preparation of Logic Diagrams for ESD system based on SAFE Charts.
Preparation / Checking of Functional Schemes for DCS / ESD PLC.
Preparation / Checking of Loop Schematics (pneumatic & electric).
Preparation / Checking of Instrument Index and I/O list, Cable Schedule & Tube Schedule, Cable Tray and Junction Box layouts, MCT Layouts etc.
Preparation / Checking of Instrument Datasheets (Control Valves, ESD Valves, Motor Operated Valves, Analyzers, Transmitters, Gauges etc).
Preparation of Process Instrument / Fire and Gas Instrument Layouts.
Conducting/co-ordination / Inspection of instruments & control systems during F.A.T & S.A.T.
Participation in HAZOP and SIL studies.
Pre-engineering, Post-engineering and Post-commissioning survey.
Erection, pre-commissioning and commissioning assistance and trouble shooting.
Technical bid evaluation and preparation of material and man hour estimates.
Project Management
Preparation of Engineering deliverable list and purchase requisition lists.
Preparation of priority lists and job schedules thereby ensuring that work is completed on time.
Co-ordination with other departments for various engineering deliverables.
Co-ordination with the vendor / clients for clarifying various design issues.
Strong background in managing projects simultaneously within given deadlines.
Worked in the EO Purification Column Relocation Project from Relene to RIL, Dahej.
Capex Project for EO/EG Plant, RIL, Dahej.
Played a major part in various shutdowns across the site handling activities such as interlock and loop testing, transmitter calibration, pressure switch calibration etc.
Hands on experience of SAP R/3 PM and MM Module.
Experience in planning, coordinating and execution of instrumentation maintenance and project activities.
Preparation of datasheets, loop drawings, tag creation in DCS.
Hands on experience in the maintenance and trouble shooting of various field instruments.
Passed B-tech in Instrumentation and Control Engineering with 74.6% (First Class). Secured 4th rank in Calicut University for B-tech - Instrumentation and Control (Years 2002 - 2006).
