- Supervising and coordinating activities of nursing personnel on day/night shifts. Maintaining and improving standards of nursing care.
- Notifies D.O.N when necessary for administrative guidance and supports.
- Ensuring nursing staffs adhere to administrative and nursing policies and procedures.

- Good communication skills, interacting effectively with all members of the multi-disciplinary team, patients, relatives and visitors.
- Participate in planned medical intervention with the medical staff by preparing, assisting and providing nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Document all nursing activities in the patients nursing record according to NSH policy.
- Perform all duties in a professional and confidential manner.
- Administers medication as prescribed, chart safely and correctly, documenting according to the established policies and procedures.
- Practices universal precautions, environmental precautions, isolation techniques, wound management and all invasive procedures according to infection control policies and procedures.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by the Nursing Director
- Participation precepting and orienting all new staff as required.
