Two months project training as a Trainee Engineer at AL TALL school project. Supervision of casting of columns, beams and slab, form work .. Experience in handling teams at site of construction, Concrete strength tests and reinforcement calculations.
It was a great experience.
Being a student in the Lebanese university, faculty of engineering, need a hard work, a Sincerity, a full time concentration. the university, with a great staff of doctors, trainers and engineers, give us the opportunity to learn about 8 courses a semester, in about 9 semesters, I’m really proud i have passed over 72 courses, and have access to many engineering programs, including AutoCAD, Excel, ROBOT, ETABS, SAFE, Sconcrete, SAP2000.. In my final year project, I have studied a tower, (tall building) and I studied the ability of this building to resist to wind and earthquakes. I chose an office tower located in Saudi Arabia and I did all the required studies to design the tower including Seismic and Wind design and using many design programs (ETABS, SAFE, Sconcrete …). I have also done all the calculation for the steel reinforcement, and done many shop drawings (flat slab, columns, shear wall, stair, ramp, basement wall), and finally I have designed an AC system for a typical floor, for more comfort and high indoor air quality. Grade: 89 out of 100 Projects I have worked on: Architecture (Duplex Villa, Building..) Geology Urbanisme GPS Project Heat Transfer Routes Electric installation Sanitary Insulation and Heating Air Conditioning Fire fighting AutoCAD, ETABS…
