I worked as professional translator/media specialist at the US Embassy in Amman from August 1994 until November 2012. My last position was "senior translator/editor and media specialist." I led a team of six translators with overall responsbility for mentoring and training them and editing their work. My duties also included giving clear performance objectives to the team members and providing official assessment of their work to management.
