• Responsible to support the Country Offices with implementation of NRC’s financial policies and procedures, and ensure financial compliance (Three country offices with total portfolio size of $80M approximately)
• Provide strategic financial advice and technical support to the Country Offices in the region
• Support Country Offices in the development and maintenance of the budgets, year-end closure, follow-up of audit results and financial reporting to donors
• Capacity build and train relevant staff in NRC’s financial policies and procedures

• Managed finance and IT operations (team of 20 employees)
• Provided decision support to the senior management team, for example, developed a consolidated BVA dashboard for all 27 projects, as a result, SMT were able to have a consolidated/summarized report "all in one page", instead of going through 27 BVA repots
• Led the financial year closing for 2017 and 2018 with zero funding gaps.
• Ensured integrity of budgets, forecasts and strategic plans (country portfolio size was $33M approximately)
• Contributed to development and implementation of global finance and IT strategies (such as 2030 ambition, 2019-2021 work plan and HPO project)
• Focused on Cost Effectiveness and overall operational efficiencies

• Monitored operational performance along with the general manager, by developing an executive dashboard for all the organization's departments, linked to strategy, targets and KPIs for the years 2016 and 2017
• Responsible for budgets monitoring ($30M, for 2016 and 2017), with zero funding gaps
• Developed financial controls and models that have successfully supported the organization's plan to grow its beneficiaries from 17, 000 to 30, 000
• Managed strategic plans (2017 master budget) and monitored cash flows ($20M)
• Formulated policies and procedures, including, AP, Payroll, treasury, cash flow, procurement and fundraising

• Performed strategic business planning and due diligence assignments for several clients in Jordan and the gulf region, including Saudi German hospital, Alhabib hospital, United travel agency and Khimji Ramdas
• Analyzed clients' recruitment issues and proposed solution based on industry best practices and benchmarks.
• Developed human recourses policies and procedures for clients, including, internal by laws, mapping labor law rules and regulations with policies procedures, recruitment procedures, time attendance, and employees' capacity building plans.

• Lead and manage the financial operations of the programs to achieve strategic plans, business plans and budget objectives.

• Supervising staff, analyzing data, planning operations and making crucial business decisions.

• Planning and organizing the activities of the internal audit function.
• Assists in the development of the annual audit plans and risk assessments.
• Supervises staff paperwork and reports to ensure proper documentation and support.
• Ensuring that the company is running efficiently, public records related to finances are kept accurately, and taxes are paid properly and on time.
• Check for mismanagement, waste or fraud and prepares a budget or report that identifies areas of potential internal exposure and areas for improving operational efficiency.

• Works closely with audit committee and senior finance management teams on key initiatives.
• Provide guidance and information to Manager and assist in responding to Corporate and DCAA.

• Manages the company's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems.
• Monitors and reports performance against plans to ensure contractual cost and schedule objectives are met.
• Prepare budgets, reviews budget proposals and prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification within contract terms.
• Initiate and review standard operating procedures.
• Formulates and administers the preparation of cash flow forecast to ensure that financial and operating reports accurately reflect the condition of the business.
• Develops and implements effective cost tracking and reporting systems.
• Provides management guidance and control for the efficient utilization of human resources to include assignment, performance and training of Finance staff.
• Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.

Immediately after graduation, I joined KPMG. My primary responsibility was to examine and analyze accounting records to determine financial status of different clients and prepares financial reports concerning their financial operations.
Major Clients: HSBC bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Nestle, Aramex, Myrsek Seland, Pepsi Cola, Petra Navigation and Ma'in Spa Hotel.
