Since 2014, I helped several organizations to become more efficient, delivering the following (But not limited to):

• Setup new financial systems and/or enhance existing systems, for different functions such as Budgeting, reporting, accounting, and source to pay.
• Internal controls, risk assessments and year end audit
• Responsible to support the Country Offices with implementation of NRC’s financial policies and procedures, and ensure financial compliance (Three country offices with total portfolio size of $80M approximately)
• Provide strategic financial advice and technical support to the Country Offices in the region
• Support Country Offices in the development and maintenance of the budgets, year-end closure, follow-up of audit results and financial reporting to donors
• Capacity build and train relevant staff in NRC’s financial policies and procedures
• Managed finance and IT operations (team of 20 employees)
• Provided decision support to the senior management team, for example, developed a consolidated BVA dashboard for all 27 projects, as a result, SMT were able to have a consolidated/summarized report "all in one page", instead of going through 27 BVA repots
• Led the financial year closing for 2017 and 2018 with zero funding gaps.
• Ensured integrity of budgets, forecasts and strategic plans (country portfolio size was $33M approximately)
• Contributed to development and implementation of global finance and IT strategies (such as 2030 ambition, 2019-2021 work plan and HPO project)
• Focused on Cost Effectiveness and overall operational efficiencies
• Monitored operational performance along with the general manager, by developing an executive dashboard for all the organization's departments, linked to strategy, targets and KPIs for the years 2016 and 2017
• Responsible for budgets monitoring ($30M, for 2016 and 2017), with zero funding gaps
• Developed financial controls and models that have successfully supported the organization's plan to grow its beneficiaries from 17, 000 to 30, 000
• Managed strategic plans (2017 master budget) and monitored cash flows ($20M)
• Formulated policies and procedures, including, AP, Payroll, treasury, cash flow, procurement and fundraising
• Performed strategic business planning and due diligence assignments for several clients in Jordan and the gulf region, including Saudi German hospital, Alhabib hospital, United travel agency and Khimji Ramdas
• Analyzed clients' recruitment issues and proposed solution based on industry best practices and benchmarks.
• Developed human recourses policies and procedures for clients, including, internal by laws, mapping labor law rules and regulations with policies procedures, recruitment procedures, time attendance, and employees' capacity building plans.

Immediately after graduation, I joined KPMG. My primary responsibility was to examine and analyze accounting records to determine financial status of different clients and prepares financial reports concerning their financial operations.
