• Responsibilities were to maintain the records of all proceedings, correspondence, approvals
and milestones for the Projects assigned.
• Ensure the works are executed in accordance with the drawings and technical specifications.
• Provide design clarifications, corrections or amendments if required as per the site conditions
or as required by the contractor for execution of works.
• Supervise the Execution of works. Carry out regular inspections of installation and materials
to ensure compliance with the Construction Contract documents and statutory requirements.
• Review the project programme submitted by the Contractor, monitor progress in relation to
this programme.

Review, update and comment on monthly reports prepared by the Contractor on the progress
of the project and submit to the Client.
• Review shop drawings, samples and other documents submitted by the Contractor, for
compliance with the Construction documents and the design intent.
• Inspect materials delivered to the site to ensure compliance with the Construction Contract
documents and the design intent.
• Implement procedures on site for Quality Assurance and Quality Control and Safety.
• Coordinate and prepare design certification necessary for the completion of the work,
including certification required by the authorities.
• Prepare progressive snagging lists throughout the construction period culminating in a final
list attached to the taking over certificate.
• Valuation of works executed, certification of Contractor’s payments.
Project: Dubai Metro - a fully automated Light Rail Transit with a total of 70km of lines, and 47
stations (including 9 underground stations)
• Responsibilities were implementation and monitoring of approved Quality Control/ Assurance
Manual for Electro-Mechanical scope of work.
• Attend Inspection of material and equipment arriving on site as per approved Material
Submittals.

Perform in-process and final inspection of all MEP activities based on approved Project
Specification, Inspection Test Plan, Method Statements and Engineering drawings.
• Ensure that activities affecting quality will be accomplished under controlled conditions based
on the approved Quality Control Plan.
• Preparation of inspection and testing reports, energization packages and other attachment
required for inspection acceptance and completion reports.

• Preparation of load schedule, electrical layouts, shop drawings.
