o Emergency Department:
* Provide emergency medical care to an average of 30 critically ill patients per
shift within Emergency Services Department.
* Ensure the provision of quality emergency medical care to patients requiring
emergency treatment in accordance with physician orders, hospital policy,
and standard nursing practice.
* Prepare patients on laboratories procedure, extracting blood for analysis.
* Assessment of patient's complaints and referring it to respective physicians.
* Monitoring Vital Signs.
* Assisting physicians in minor procedures like suturing incision and drainage
as order.
* Do removal of sutures.
* Inserting intravenous access.
* Preparing and giving medications.
* Do sterile wound dressing
* Assisting physicians in doing backslubing.
* Performs ECG as order.
* Inserting indwelling Foley catheter as ordered.
* Inserting Naso Gastric Tube.
* Check and review the files of patient in coming.
* Checking Vital Signs.
* Applying and removing Fiber and POP cast.
* Assist and perform activities of daily procedures such as dressing and
undressing wound aseptically.
* Assisting doctor for chiropractor patient.
* Apply and performing all orthopedic devices for patient fracture like a
cervical collar, knee support, ankle support, brace collar, crepe bandage,
arm sling, wrist support, splint, braces, bandages, elbow, and immobilizer
support
* Assist as necessary with any other duties that will provide the best possible
care and performs any other duties that may assign from time to time.
* Maintaining good interpersonal relationship among co-health staff and
supervisors.
* Maintaining safety of the patient throughout the procedure.
* Assisting the doctor for minor procedures like incision and drainage,
removal of K-wires and pins and doing different kinds of dressing.
