ADWEA (Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority) GIS Platform Expansion and Upgrade project: ESRI (Environmental System Research Institute) Arc GIS migration from 8.2 to 9.1. Upgraded, enhanced and developed several applications including :
• EACOS (Electronic Application of Clearance of Services): Designed and developed to provide an automated solution for clearance processes at ADDC (Abu Dhabi Distribution Company) utilizing the ADWEA GIS. The application allows an automated, centralized and streamlined clearance application process that enables the electronic flow of data among multiple ADDC divisions and sections that participate in the approval of clearances.
• OMS (Outage Management System): A Desktop trouble-call management and dispatch system. It features a Call Analysis Engine that operates as a central server, receiving and analyzing all trouble calls. This program is designed to provide the most up-to-date information and ADWEA can provide better service and response to Electric and Water outages.
• SPMT (System Performance Monitoring Tool): Provides ADWEA GIS administrator, as well as other concerned users with the necessary tools to monitor the performance and usability of the identified GIS applications. The application also provides reporting tools to assist the GIS administrator in further analysis and monitoring of the applications performance and utilization, as well as the GIS system.
• Analysis and Design: I was involved in both the requirement and follow-up meetings with the client related to the aforementioned applications. I equally conducted the required analysis that resulted with the official design documents being produced as a basis for the development of these applications.
• Training: I have also been involved in the training track of the project as I prepared, documented and lectured several OUS (Onsite User Support) and training sessions for ADWEA, ADDC and AADC (Al Ain Distribution Company) users.

This application was used by more than 30 computers in 10 branches distributed over the Lebanese territory and managed the daily workflow and transactions of each branch independently in addition to all company-wide financial control operations.

• Reporting Tools: Set of different reports that utilized the data generated from “Cash Count” to reflect the current financial standing and situation of the company.
