• Analyzing and preparing financial information for the board of directors and senior management encompassing all the group entities across multiple sectors such as Automobile Retail, Auto-Financing, Auto-Spare parts, Real Estate, Food & Beverage, Transportation and Plastic Goods Manufacturing.
• Enhancing management oversight on sector entities business performance by preparing monthly financial & operational data (by partnering with senior management & accounts team) including segmental profitability reports, bridge analyses on sales & profit highlighting key variances, deep dive on cost structure, working capital management along with additional HR health and strategic organizational goals update.
• Preparing budgets and rolling forecast for group entity(s) to be presented to the board by senior management. Setting up financial models for management usage to gauge profitability on scenario basis of different projects and ensuring selection of business plan which optimizes return against risk and is aligned with overall strategic objectives of the group.
• Leading project on automating the publication of financial statements monthly through the BI.
• Enhancing the competitiveness and market responsiveness of the Auto Retail sector by creating a pricing calculator for the Financial Lease business built on multiple variables (profit rate, collections, finance cost, default rates, insurance, sales volume etc.) and accommodating all potential business channels plus comparisons against competitor pricing.
• Analyze CAPEX for all group entities through the corporate finance process of measuring the proposals cash flows and their ultimate benefit to the organization through metrics such as DCF, NPV, IRR, MIRR among others.
• Liaising with group treasury to assess bank proposals to minimize interest rate risk via certain hedging/speculative strategies.
• Researching and analyzing various investment proposals as presented by group CFO, aside from the core group businesses.
• Supervising & training junior financial analysts/internee’s in the corporate finance department.
• Coordinating with external consultants for conversion of financial statements to IFRS.

• Analyzing and preparing financial information for the board of directors with focus on; company performance (revenue, returns, working capital) based on comparative and modelled (projection) data to determine how the organization is poised to deliver for investors.
• Assist the financial & business development unit in conducting due diligence over potential M&A activity by preparing a 5 year financial plan for all the respective business units and prepared a preliminary valuation of the overall entity.
• Preparing MIS report(s) for the subsidiary consisting of financial statements derived from SAP finance module, and assisting in consolidating sector financial statements.
• Preparing a business summary on a monthly basis highlighting financial trends in the various categories within the business for senior management perusal, using Tableau/MS Office software.
• Developing and analyzing budget for the entire company (holding & subsidiaries) annually with a quarterly rolling forecast presented to Al Faisaliah Group board of Directors.
• Reviewing existing showroom/retail outlets portfolio performance and assessing potential new openings by analyzing their NPV, IRR and PBP.
• Preparing revenue, margin management, working capital, inventory monitoring, receivable aging and sensitivity analysis.
• Evaluating the ROI on existing business processes within various segments of the organization and assisting in realigning terms with principal (suppliers) to ensure profitability.
• Assisting with quarterly bonus/incentive/rebates calculation for customers & employees.
• Enhance credit risk management function by preparing weekly, monthly trending of receivables + credit terms monitoring.
• Co-ordinate with accounts & finance team to facilitate yearly audit requirements.

• Conducting due diligence on companies and industries by researching, reading financial statements and market data.
• Structuring asset based Shariah compliant financing transaction (utilizing IRR and NPV based model) congruent to the client’s financial needs and cash cycle, whilst maximizing shareholder return.
• Perform ad-hoc investment proposals based on senior management instructions, detailing a specific investment opportunity for Al Tayyar Group compared to existing portfolio and conventional bank returns.
• Analyze and scrutinize financial statements of the corporate client to seek evidence of financial stability or insecurity, analysis includes revenue generation, profitability, leverage, capital structure, liquidity, cash flows and basic compliance with SOCPA standards.
• Monthly reporting of client and sector exposure to monitor and maintain client portfolio exposure within internally and SAMA (Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency) defined risk levels.
• Collaborated with management on creation of Corporate Credit & Risk Manual comprehensively detailing the financial products provided and the operational procedures & protocols associated with Financial & Credit appraisal of clients (requirement for SAMA registration).

• Assisted in developing company’s fixed asset policies compliant with IFRS & IASB standards. Created fixed asset policy structure for their ERP system.
• Assisted with GL entries, accounts receivable & accounts payable, payroll administration & cash/bank reconciliations & formation of monthly balance sheet + income statement at month end.
• Synthesized the firms chart of account, reduced redundancies improved control & management of accounts.
• Weekly management reporting on Brand Analysis, Production Activity & Labour Costing.
