To supervise Kitchen Team Members to ensure the daily schedule is achieved.
•To undertake the weekly stock - take of Kitchen provisions, reporting results to the branch manager.
•Prepare, cook and present food, quickly and efficiently, meeting our standards.
•Assist in keeping the kitchen clean, hygienic and tidy, at all times.
•Keep up to date with current promotions and new products.
•To undertake the weekly deep clean of the kitchen.To ensure all Kitchen Team Members receive training to maintain standard level of the brand.
Ensures that all food items prepared and served are according to established standards and practices.
•Assists during the preparation, cooking and presentation of food for officers, crew and staff to the agreed and established standards, and to the satisfaction of the officers, crew and staff.
•Cleaning, peeling, cutting of all food items according to the company’s standard and assuring efficient food service.
•Responsible for ensuring that the kitchen meets sanitation standards.
•Responsible for the storage of food, both incoming stock and leftovers. Assistant Cook will often assist in unloading delivery trucks and ensuring that food is stored in the appropriate conditions.
