MANUFACTURING ENGINEER / QC ENGINEER
• Lead the development of new products and all its technical aspects and requirements, coordination to concerned department of development schedule.
• Provide Development Schedule for the introduction of new products.
• Create Engineering Bill of Materials for new products development
• Study customer's product drawings and all its engineering aspects, sourcing, manufacturing approach considering cost, manufacturability, work efficiency and safety.
• Creation of design concept of gauges and fixtures based on costumer's specified references and requirements
• Facilitate and follow-up Job Orders for jigs and fixtures at production area.
• Assist in manufacturing of products' gauges, jigs and fixtures and educate machinist and welding operators the manufacturing techniques and approach to fabricate and assemble welding fixtures and jigs
• Design Review and checking the pilot product specifications.
• Creation (and revision if necessary) of Work Instruction (WI), Quality Plan (QP) and Process Sheet (PS) and ensuring the implementation in every product by conducting inspection and testing.
• Introduction, endorsement and education of newly assembled fixtures to the Welding line regarding how to use, manufacturing process, welding machine set-up, and welding instructions.
• Create Inspection Sheet for new products, including inspection checkpoints, method of checking, tools needed, and all welding instructions.
• Educate QC inspectors about the new products, inspection procedure, inspection checkpoints and inspection gauges.
• Continuous improvement of the quality and productivity of assigned line and prepare Design Change Request if necessary.
• Investigating all the quality and environmental concerns of the customers, especially the customer's prescribed level of inspection and the inspection procedure that will be applied to each particular product and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate costumer claims and defect to the concerned line; and coordinate/inform/report to customer about the investigation of defects (internal and external) and its corrective and preventive actions and provide Special Acceptance Request if necessary.
• Check and decide and gives judgment on undecided parts or products at manufacturing area.
• Administering the calibration and/or verification of all monitoring and measuring equipments; establishing and monitoring the calibration and/or verification schedule; making and keeping calibration or verification records or reports obtained from the result of the entire calibration or verification process conducted.
• Continuous improvement of product competence by cost reduction activities.
• Uplift the safety awareness level, and working skills of co-engineers, QC inspectors, and operators by education.
