This project is for the new port for Abu Dhabi and is essentially a Road Project including hard, soft, lighting and furnishing. We must finish this project by middle July so we are extremely busy.
This project i have brought to my company through my contacts and my duties are to oversee my Project Manager and provide him with all the necessary resources to complete the project successfully. I visit the site every day and co-ordinate all requests from the main contractor and my P.M. I ensure that all materials are ordered and delivered on schedule. I have outsourced a specialist scheduler and provided the construction logic to enable us to submit and update the necessary schedule..There was a design change resulting in a large increase in value and were involved in the redesign process including mock ups to satisfy the client. During my project managers holiday period i would assume full duties pertaining to P.M.

Representing the contractor at all project meetings and co-ordinating the work with our civil and irrigation engineers and to monitor the work of all sub-contractors . I would ensure the timely and correct submittal of shop drawings, revised drawings and as-builts as well as material submittals etc.
