Scope of Work: •Daily meeting with Client and design team and ID Consultant to review schematic Design and ensure it meets the Hotel Operator Guidelines and requirements.
•Review Mock-up for Hotel rooms ensuring it is built as per Conrad requirements and meeting also QCS-1984 standards as a minimum.
•Authorize all submittals by the main contractor to progress the works without delay to the project.

•In charge of all the supervision team (approximately 45) across all sites. Attend key meetings for all key project sites ensuring the team is preforming its duties. Prepare proposals for new bids to various clients and government departments.
•Utilize software package lotus notes and MIS system for job management of projects. Seek new opportunities and future supervision projects to GHD. Ensure all clients expectations are met by GHD members. Produce reports of utilization efficiency for all site staff as well monthly presentation to the Operating Centre manager and financial controller

(Design and Delivery)
Scope of Work: •Weekly coordination meeting with Design team and Hotel Operator representative ensuring that construction as per Manadarin Hotel requirements and Mockup produced on site and approved by the client/Operator.
•Monitor Contractor team ensuring the project is constructed as per plans and specifications. Monitor and ensure Project budgets, schedules and milestones are completed by the contractor.
•Provide monthly feedback to Hotel operator on progress as well participate in site visits by the operator on regular basis.
•Daily Management of the main contractors across all phases to deliver the project on time and within budget . Attend to all delay related issues from main contractor, such as meeting with sub-contractors, review man power requirements and procurement issues. Chair Weekly Progress meeting for the Project with main contractor and all his sub-contractors to ensure all critical items are addressed.
•Review and present short term weekly/bi-weekly and daily production programme ensuring its meets targets. Coordinate with Planning and Procurement to schedule material delivery on time.. Participate, review tenders and contracts for main contractor and sub-contract agreements.
•Ensure effective mobilization and implementation of the systems, materials and equipment and time delivery. Preform technical evaluation on bids from main contractor for works submitted as design and build.
•Review and critique budgets, Bills of Quantities and all financial aspects of the project to ensure final budget is not exceeded.
•Review and approve payment certificate for the main contractor. Manage the Project Management Company (Turner International) to ensure adherence to time and cost of the whole project.
•Review tender submissions of various packages and ensure full adherence to corporate Governance policies of MP.
•Review EOT claims by the main contractor for various packages and ensure full adherence to FIDIC regulations and present to the Board for approvals.
•Assist in the Development and implementation of the department annual business and operating plans, KPI’s and budget
•Present to the Board new contracts in excess of $200 million US new package. Regular meetings with cost consultant (RLB) and phase cost consultant (AECOM/Gleeds) to ensure estimates and reporting are within allocated budget.

Project: Various Projects with a Portofolio of 3 billion QAR.

Scope of Work: •Take charge of a team of personnel from Consultants/Planner and Quantity Surveyors to deliver project within time and budget constraints. Review scope of works and tender documents for all subcontractors. Prepare and present monthly reports to senior management on cost and construction progress.
•Chair weekly contractors progress meeting ensuring all parties are performing their duties and meeting construction programme. Review and authorize monthly progress payments for the contractor/engineer ensuring work completed by the main contractor meets progress on site achieved. Negotiate final contract price with nominated sub-contractors. Carry out site inspections with bank and authorities to meet scheduled payments.
•Identify potential cost and time overruns and take appropriate measures to resolve. Carry out value engineering exercises for various contracts.

Scope of Work: •Review tenders and contracts to mitigate risks.
•Review forecast and cash flows for the project and prepare reports. Provide advice to project team on the administration. Risk and Profitability aspect of the project.
•Monitor and report on the construction of a 68-storey office tower (JLT-Almas tower) in term of agreed programme submitted by the contractor.
•Chair all progress and technical meetings on a weekly basis with the main contractor. Ensure all site safety issues are complied with as per EHS requirements. Review and approvals of technical and shop drawings submittals related to all civil and structural elements. Manage the Site supervision team .
•Review and approve logistic Plans for the main contractor. Supervise contractor and their supply chain. Review Contractors Baseline Programme, Update Programme and Monthly Report. Carry out factory site visits for Curtain Walling, Precast panel to ensure delivery on site meeting milestones. Advise on Procurement options to ensure Fast Track delivery. on site.
•Negotiate with sub-contractors the best final contract price by ensuring all items are addressed in the scope of works reflected in the BOQ

Selection of Projects Carried Out

Scope of Work: •Develop in conjunction with consultants a master plan for the site consisting of 5 Residential towers ranging in height from 17 storeys to 40 storeys and various medium to low rise apartments in total 1684 units.
•Carry out feasibility analysis for each tower based on current market conditions and rate of return from the project. Prepare detailed cash flow analysis for the project and review all Consultants proposals for each stage of the project.
•Prepare detailed financial reports to assist in the funding of the project. Liaise with government authorities/local council to ensure full compliance with local regulations and laws. Oversee the marketing campaign for stage 1 of the project - 30 storey residential tower, preparation of marketing materials/ advertising and community consultation. Formalize Design Package to enable full tender documents to be issued to contractors. Work with Quantity Surveyor on Bills of Quantities. Prepare tenders for construction and negotiate with contractor final bid price.
