Responsible for undertaking Fuel (aviation and ground) laboratory tests according to ASTM standards on behalf of the US army. Responsible for sampling of fuel from various sources such as tanks, trucks, and bladders.
Responsible for ensuring that fuel is within the required quality standards through correctly blending with the missing additives. Liaising between suppliers, relevant internal departments and customers.
Responsible for calibrating various laboratory equipment. Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly laboratory reports using LIMS.
Responsible for drawing up daily production schedule. Responsible for process monitoring and control ensuring that the right process, quality and yield is achieved.
Responsible for Maintenance management, and budgeting to ensure there is maximum plant availability and utilization. Liaising between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers.
Employee grievances handling, identifying employee training needs and also carrying out performance appraisals.
Regulatory compliance of OSHA with both the company policies and also those for the local government agency such as Environmental Management Agent (EMA) and Local City Council. Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports for production, Stores departments and Distribution department.
Involved in production activities, which comprises five major sections namely, Body
Shop, Finishing Shop, Research and Development, Production
Planning, and Maintenance.
Involved in Production Planning and Scheduling including materials planning, co- ordination, and manpower planning
Involved in determining the process routes for standard and non standard products
Involved in Manufacturing Systems design, construction and commissioning. This
includes jig and fixture design and manufacturing, production line balancing and process determination to enhance productivity.
Operated a vast range of equipment such as hydraulic press, lathe machines, automated bending machines, rolling machines, CO2 welding machines and guillotines.
Involved in Research & development; prototype manufacturing and commissioning.
Assisted in setting up performance measures and incentives to enhance productivity
Refueling customers vehicles with gasoline and Diesel fuel. Perform minor vehicle repairs such as adjusting brakes, replacing spark plugs, and changing engine oil and filters.
Responsible for checking air pressure in vehicle tires; and levels of fuel, motor oil, transmission, radiator, battery, and other fluids; and add air, oil, water, or other fluids, as required.
Assisting in the downloading of fuel from bulk trucks into underground Fuel storage tanks
