Fiber Technician (Fiberglass Technician) :

- Preparing molds/ applying release agents to ensure proper shaping and removal of fiberglass
parts.

- Cutting, trimming, and preparing fiberglass cloth and mats.
- Applying resin and laying up fiberglass materials into molds or on vessel surfaces.
- Ensuring proper resin-to-glass ratio and removing air bubbles to avoid defects.
. -Performing structural repairs and modifications
- Repairing cracks, holes, and other damage using fiberglass and resin.
- Performing structural modifications and enhancements as needed.
- Sanding and smoothing fiberglass surfaces to achieve a clean, finished look.
- Applying gel coats and other finishes to protect /enhance the appearance of the fiberglass.
- Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.
- Identifying and addressing any defects or issues promptly.
- Using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety guidelines.
