Fursan M.N Farouqa


Mr. Farouqa is a graduate of Jordan University, Masters in Finance (1989) and has his Bachelors in Finance and Banking Sciences main major and minor in accounting (1986 - 1987) from Yarmouk University in Jordan.

Prior being freelance consultant in Jordan. Fursan was the resident adviser and member of the board of directors of the Arab American Takaful Insurance Company, a position which I moved to on 10 December 2005, after serving for four years as director of the financial and technical supervision department, and a fifth year as adviser to the Director-General of the Jordan Insurance Commission (JIC). Those were the formative years of the JIC, which is now considered by international organizations as a recommended regulatory model in the region. Before moving to the insurance industry. Fursan was the Managing Partner of Mamoun Farouka & Co. ( MAFCO) for fifteen yeas, with key experience records in:
• Accounting and financial strategic work related to liquidation, special accounting investigation cases, and financial arbitration in addition to all related different aspects of developing accounting systems and implementation, audit different financial statements for commercial, industrial, educational and financial companies.
• Participation in and conduction of different financial studies, financial analysis, cash flow forecasting, and financial portfolio analysis.
• Worked as client liaison and coordination consultant in many consultancy projects which included dealing with aspects of Jordanian laws and regulations regarding different government and foreign agencies, such as USAID.
Different Anti-Corruption financial investigation cases from both private and public sectors in Jordan.
