Preparing corporate tax returns according to the Egyptian tax law and it’s amendments.

-Handling all due diligence process and give a final report.
-A good knowledge about real estate tax (Activated recently).
-Innovating and publishing “Tax News Alerts” to the tax department.
-A very good skills in writing reports and professional business.
2- Lafarge Cement Egypt
Charged by (PWC) with special assignment to working in tax department at
(Lafarge Cement Egypt) from April 2017 till the end of October 2017.
Responsibilities:
-Preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns according to the Egyptian tax law and its
amendments.
-Calculating the deferred tax for the group companies.
-Preparing all tax Journal entries for financial reporting purposes.
-Reporting tax items and forms on SAP according to our group’s module.
-Preparing and report corporate tax budgets.
-Calculating and preparing withholding tax forms for both local and foreign withholding
tax. -Preparing monthly sales tax returns / VAT Returns for five companies of our group
LCE/LMEA/RME/EQ/Geocycle.
-Preparing Stamp tax forms and calculates all kinds of stamp tax dues.
-Handling, attending and representing the group companies in all tax disputes with the
ETA (Egyptian Tax Authority) from the tax inspection process to the appeal committee
for all kinds of taxes.
-Keeping all tax dues deadlines.
-Advise the group company’s units with the needed tax consultations.
-A good knowledge about International Taxation issues and double tax treaties
agreements applying.
-Appeal on property tax claims and prepare property tax defence memos.
-Following up tax department’s engagements with tax advisors and reviewing the
payments and results.
-Preparing tax risk assessments, tax positions and tax provisions studies reports for the
group companies.
-Reporting and presenting the local group’s tax position and future estimations to the
group’s global tax team.
