Work scope includes complete project management with Installation, Testing & commissioning, Operation, Troubleshooting, Preventive & Corrective Maintenance, Fulfill the requirements of the client, and handling HSE matters of Electrical Power Substations of Ma’aden Infrastructure Company in Ras-al-Khair Industrial City, KSA.
Achievements:
a- Site Development by removing OHTL (10Km) which connected SS1 and SS2 and construction of 34.5 KV Underground cable including (Trenching, routing and excavation inspection prior to cable laying, Cable pulling and laying and splicing supervision, Cable dressing and tagging, Insulation and Continuity, and Hipot Tests, Backfilling, and energizing).
b- Supervision of 100 MVA, 115KV/34.5KV faulty Power Transformer disconnection, removal, internal inspection in the workshop, rewinding, testing & commissioning, reconnecting to the grid, and re-energizing.
c- Construction and connection of new two feeders (25 MVA) to the existing 34.5 KV GIS switchgear for Ras-al-Khair to Jubail highway road lighting.
d- Modification of complete system relays coordination (study and execution of the new recommended settings).

Operations Engineer. at Saudi Delta Company for Power Projects Ltd.

Responsibilities:
Switchgear and associated equipment:
-inspection and maintenance of arcing contacts and operating mechanism of incoming, outgoing, and bus-coupler CBs (annually) and replace the oil if 5 short circuit conditions arise in oil type CBs.
-tightening of control cables & inspection of controls, switches, and meters (annually).
-supervising testing of protection relays and replace the defective if any (annually).
Transformers system:
-BDV test for transformers oil (annually).
-calibration of temperature, level, and pressure gauges (annually).
-tightening of cable connections (annually).
-replacement of silica gel if became pinkish or white.
-cleaning of tanks, bushings, dehydrating breathers, and associated devices (annually).
DC system:
-checking of volts, specific gravity, temperature and casing of the batteries (monthly).
-cleaning of the batteries and the battery chargers (monthly).
-tightening of cable connections of the batteries and the battery chargers (monthly).
Cables & Trenches:
-checking, maintenance, and repair of LV, control and other cables (monthly).
-other than monthly inspection the trenches must be kept clean & dry (daily).
Fire Fighting System: inspection of fire extinguishers and startup of the station unit installed fire fighting system and carried out repair as required (monthly).
Water treatment plant & Lube oil Separators: checking and maintenance of panels, controls, switches, motors, and cables (monthly).
Fuel unloading system: inspection and maintenance of fuel unloading pump motor and checking and adjusting of its level sensor for auto stop (monthly).
Compressed air skids: maintenance of electric motor sets which drive the compressors and checking and adjusting of pressure switches (monthly).
Workshop, cranes & offices: checking and repair of air conditioners, lighting system, ceiling, cranes and workshop machines (monthly).
