Develop and refine internal policies and controls to ensure they remain robust. Perform business and team self assessments for audit and regulatory purposes. Develop business risk appetite in line with market standards, economic forecasts and the business growth targets. Assist in the development of various application and financial models to improve risk (PD, LGD, EAD, Basel 2/3 and cash flow simulation models). Prevention and cure of defaulted loans. Compile divisional credit committee and Executive Credit Committee quarterly packs.

Provide advice on funding structures that offers tax solutions to clients as well as the bank. These include (BEE Funding, Leveraged/Structured Finance, Property Development Finance, Management & Leverage buyouts as well as Equity Secured Lending)
