At S K Ecoplant Co. Ltd, serving from August 2019 to August 2023, I had the privilege of overseeing the quality control dimensions of the Mandous Oil Storage Terminal Project in Fujairah, UAE, one of the worlds largest storage cavern initiatives. Entrusted as a QC Inspector (Civil), my role was pivotal in coordinating with engineering teams and geologists to ensure the structural integrity and safety of 36 km of subterranean infrastructure. My responsibilities extended to executing stringent quality control inspections, adhering to approved Method Statements and Inspection and Test Plans for Shotcrete and Rock Bolts, thereby eliminating non-conformance reports. I took pride in validating the compliance of materials with global standards, managing critical pre-concrete pour inspections, and leading the project to a successful handover, emphasizing crack repair and snag resolution.
During my tenure with Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd in Qatar from May 2016 to July 2019, I significantly contributed as a QC Inspector to the New Orbital Highway and Truck Route project, a cornerstone for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 infrastructure. My focus was on assuring quality compliance for the 42 km, 14-lane expressway, involving meticulous inspections, calibration certificate verifications, and managing the final handover process. My efforts were instrumental in facilitating smooth handover inspections, resolving snags, and compiling crucial handover documentation, ensuring the project met its ambitious goals with high-quality standards.
At Modern Constructions, from June 2013 to January 2016, I embarked on my professional journey as a Project Engineer, successfully managing the completion of various residential and commercial projects in Kovilpatti and Gangaikondan. This role demanded comprehensive project lifecycle management, from excavation to handover, emphasizing quality standards adherence. My responsibilities encompassed overseeing construction activities, certifying subcontractor measurements, and efficiently managing workforce, machinery, and materials, demonstrating my commitment to excellence and timely project delivery.
