• I am currently the project manager for several parallel projects for one of the largest and prestigious US clients of Virtusa.
• Was involved in the project planning, stakeholder management and delivery of several projects for a major US client in the Insurance Segment. Managing a team of over 20 QA and development resources and ensured that project timelines, profitability and Quality aspects are met.
• Involved in coordination of onsite/ offshore development and QA activities. Managed distributed teams from the US, India and Sri Lanka to ensure smooth delivery.
Informatics International Ltd- One of the leading CMMI Level 3 certified software development companies in Sri Lanka dealing with Telecom, Insurance and Boarder Control solutions to clients in Asia Pacific and Africa.
• Handled 4 major clients in the Telecom industry based in Africa and Asia Pacific. I have handled multiple large scale projects and Change requests at a given time, delivering them on time and to the required quality. Was the project manager for 2 major product upgrade projects for Telecom clients spanning over one and a half years each with a team of 30 Developers and QA engineers.
• Maintained close working relationships with client stakeholders on all projects. Able to obtain customer buy in on project schedules and procurement of equipment, server, resource needs. Handled customer disputes and negotiated a Win win solution for both parties.
• Responsible for project planning and scheduling, preparation of project management plans and other project artifacts, and monitoring and controlling of project activities.
• Played a Scrum master role for the development of a new web self care product which was to be rolled out to our clients. Involved in iteration planning, releases and daily SCRUM activities. Motivating, coaching and driving teams to achieve project goals.

IFS Research & Development (PVT) Ltd - A part of IFS AB, Sweden involved in the implementation of IFS ERP solutions in Sri Lanka and the Asia/ Pacific region.
• Expert knowledge in Sales and Distribution and Finance modules of IFS. Was allocated to several Key implementations of IFS in Manufacturing, Retail and Repair and Maintenance sectors. This increased my knowledge in a wide range of industries and was able to provide advisory and consultation on best business practices for these companies while implementing IFS. Did functional specifications for customizations and conducted UAT and live cutovers.
• In recognition of the client management and communication skills was appointed as the project manager for a client in Bangladesh in 2010 and Singer Thailand in 2011. Apart from being the lead Finance consultant for the client I had overall responsibility in meeting schedule and delivery deadlines while liasing with onsite offsite resources. Was involvolved in handling cross functional teams from client and within IFS to delver work products as per the scope and quality requirements. Was involved in close monitoring and control of project activities.
• Worked with Senior management of these clients on end to end solutioning design and advising on Strategic IT planning within the organization.
• Experience in five end to end ERP implementations and eight projects overall.
• Played a key role as the support coordinator for the post live support for the largest client in Sri Lanka. Coordinated issue analysis, prioratisation and fixing as well as liasing closely with the IT Director at Singer to ensure timely action on issue fixes.
