Responsibility:
Generalist managed the overall human resources policies development and the evaluation of staff performance (over 14, 000 employees).
Achievements:
•Developed the Corporation’s Personnel Policy Manual to maintain a competitive/comprehensive policies, benefits and allowances within the local and gulf markets.
•Participated in QP restructure to reduce the manpower cost by 35% and increase the productivity by 60% and assuring that the terminated employees’ benefits are aligned with HR policies and advice management accordingly.
•Captured QAR 50M in benefit cost reductions and avoided an additional QAR 80M in retirement plan funding.
•Reviewed the HR Policy Manual for newly established affiliated companies and certain Governmental authorities. Construct benefits/allowances package, and recommend changes to management on the most practical and efficient method.
•Introduced metrics-based performance management system with a heavy emphasis on operating results. Spearheaded value-add employee recognition and awards programs.
•Established the benefits and allowances ‘Index’ for the Affiliated/Subsidiaries Companies (Downstream and Upstream Companies).
•Championed successful talents program and enhance the identification of ‘Successors’ of the key/critical positions in coordination with concerned division/department heads.
•Prepared the Gulf Oil Companies HR Liaison bi-annual meetings.
•Controlled budgets and expenditure within the approved allocations of the section and implement cost efficiency strategy.

•Assessed the conditions of service and remuneration policies within the national associations to ensure fair, consistent and motivating employment conditions. Supported detailed studies and salary surveys and ensure critical gap areas are addressed.
•Facilitated leadership development for key national / regional office staff including training, peer-to-peer learning, exchange programs, job rotation schemes, diversity programs, etc.

•Improved the HR Employee Relations method: Prepare Grievance Application System for Counseling Unit/ Develop action plan.
•Chaired the transition from HRIS Oracle to S.A.P platform.
•Analyzed staff turnover rates, external hires and ascertained any common reasons and advised management of any trends and make recommendations for corrective action.
•Maintained and continuously improving Syriatel Quality Management System.
•Taught employees new and more efficient ways to perform their jobs.
•Managed Scholarship program (registration, payment and progress report).

•Trained 20 employees to be official trainers for the organization.
