Secondment to Barwa Project

• Additional Site Observations & Major Issues.

The project is located to the west and north of the Doha city and will provide a new road between Salwa Road and North Relief Road, it consists of 10-lane section (5 in each directed) with four truck lanes with seven interchanges 40 no. 11 kV substation, 66 &11 kV diversions, 400 & 220 kV OHL Tower line relocation, 43 km High mast / Street light installation, Plant Room in Tunnel’s MEPF( 11 kV Distribution, Disel Generator and power transformer, Tunnel Lighting system including Day and Night time lighting and emergency lighting, Fire Alarm and detection system within the Tunnel and plant room building, Plant Room building Lighting, small power and containment system, Earthing and Bonding of Tunnel, Lighting Protection of the Plant Room Building. .

Lusail development Primary Infrastructure CP2 is a project consists of two (2) no. 66 kV sub-stations (which include 66 kV 40 MVA six no. Transformer, GIS installation, 80 no. 11 kV outgoing feeder, 31 no. 11 / .433 kV distribution substation, 5 km EHV underground utility, 20 km underground utilities for HV and LV, 5 km of street lighting and 2000 l/s and head 13-meter one no. pumping station.

Responsibilities:
• Official representative of BARWA to KAHRAMAA for 11 kV and 66 kV
works.
• The profiles, material submittal for 11 & 66 kV works were reviewed and
recommended to Kahramaa thereafter got approved without resubmission.
• Submitted System Outage schedules and arranging meeting with
Kahramaa for major Shutdowns of 11 kV and 66 kV works.
• Supervised the installation, testing and commission of EHV (66 kV LPOF
cables), HV (11kV) Cables.
• Supervised the installation of 11 kV Substation.
• All jobs like As-Built drawings submissions, Scrapped material deliveries,
and Kahramaa inspections were triggered at correct time.
• Produce Close Out document in Kahramaa reflecting all the Electrical
works being completed 100 % by the Client so as to obtain Clearance
Certificate with two three rounds of meeting, achieved Clearance Certificate
from Kahramaa and throughout maintained ISO standards in Kahramaa.
