Reinsurance Department Lebanon and GCC:
- Handle the administrative work of Reinsurance Non-Life and Medical treaties
- Put in place reinsurance written policies and procedures including:
▪ Reinsurance treaty closing and accounting
▪ Reinsurance treaty renewal
▪ Reinsurance Facultative placement
- Develop the Reinsurance Treaty Renewal package including:
▪ Tendering Provisional Notice of Cancellation 90 days prior to renewal date
▪ Triangles and Results
▪ Risk and Claim Profiles
▪ EQ/Nat Cat Exposure
▪ RI Slips
▪ Treaty Renewal document and storyline
▪ Placement sheet and negotiation development
- Overview and handle the reinsurance accounts in all aspects and sub-duties
- Prepare and follow up the payments from/to reinsurers and different entities
- Overview and handle claims in connection with reinsurers including notification memos and cash loss collection
- Ensure documentation of reinsurance arrangements before renewal date (signed by all reinsurers)
- Ensure reinsurance arrangements are reviewed by legal and compliant with local law and jurisdictions
- Overview and follow up all special acceptances
- Attend to reinsurance brokers, reinsurers and entities queries and follow up all their different needs
- Follow up all tenders that are in relation with reinsurance arrangements
- Analyze the financial standing of reinsurers
- Analyze the company’s portfolio and the reinsurance needs of the different entities
- Consult with the different entities before the treaty renewals regarding the treaties’ capacity, scope and new covers needed
- Analyze, overview and consolidate the portfolio’s risk profiles, loss profiles, production and loss ratios
- Analyze, overview and consolidate the treaties statistics and results
- Analyze the business relation with the reinsurers
- Prepare the treaties slips and wordings
