• Prepare projects’ layout specifications, cost estimates, timelines, and detailed proposals for clients;
• Recruit specialized subcontractors and qualified employees to guarantee a timely execution of the project;
• Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) and supply all necessary equipment to subcontractors by ensuring that the price and quality are respected;
• Manage projects and monitor site progress by supervising subcontractors’ daily work and activities;
• Submit material data and samples;
• Raise Variation Orders (VO) if any additional work occurs.
• Supervise day to day operations of sub-contractors, and resolve any technical issues that may arise;
• Ensure project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets, and timescales;
• Make arrangements for implementing the health & safety procedures including safety inspections of the site;
• Assess and minimize risk;
• Prepare site reports and fill other paperwork namely FIR, CVI, MAR, ACN, etc…;
• Prepare Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), Interim Payment Certificates (IPC), and Quantity Surveying (QS);
• Provide clear information and training to employees;
• Raise RFIs, requests for design change, and requests for substitutions.
• Meet with clients or main contractors to discuss the job;
• Analyze drawings, quantity take-offs, and specs of aluminum elements;
• Visit sites and take execution measurements;
• Make sure workers are taking safety measurements;
• Prepare projects’ layout specifications and quotations for clients.
• Preparing Bar Bending Schedules
• Coordinating with contractors and sub-contractors for smooth flow of work
• Scheduling material and equipment purchases and delivery
• Quantity surveying of many works (Excavation, Block wall construction, Cladding, Plastering, Tiling, etc…)
• Site managing and handling the work as per specification and drawings
• Coordinating with other parties for any change in drawings or any revision
• Producing as-built drawings
• Coordinating with consultants in order to meet ISO requirements
• Preparing snag list
• Checking plans and quantities for accuracy of calculations
• Preparing daily reports
• Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications
