The BDV consists of 70 villa, VIP area, administration building, underground reservoirs, restaurants, sports hall, football courts, fence with all related infrastructure and external works and landscaping. The project located at a very remote area inside the desert.

Project: EPC works for Distributed Solar Power Integrated PV-1183
Location: Mauritania

Contract Value: 30.5 Million US$
The Project consists of the construction of 16.4 MWp solar PV projects in seven locations all over Islamic Republic of Mauritania; namely, at Boutilimit, Aleg, Aioune, Akjoujt, Atar, Boulenour, and El Chami
Duties: Three months secondment from Area Nigeria, site manager for south region (Boutilimit, Aleg and Aioune). Responsible for all civil works including trenches and foundations, along with the coordination between electrical and mechanical works to hand over the project on time and within the allocated budget.
Project Challenges: Fast track EPC project, sites are distributed all over Mauritanian desert in remote areas, tuff and very hot weather (reaches 50C), lack of materials, spare parts & skilled personnel nearby the PV parks.

Project: Dualisation of UGELLI-ASABA ROAD-Sector A (DUAR)

Dualization of carriage way road from Ugelli to Aradeh with a total length 39 KM plus spur road of 4.5KM including cross box and pipe culverts, new jersey barrier all thru the road median separating the two carriage ways 7.80 m wide each, side line drains, 200mm base course layer followed by two asphaltic layers 50mm binder course and 40mm asphalt course. Main Duties:
•Manage contract progress billing in assistance with Cost Controller and Finance Team.
•Develop a detailed project management plan for the project as per contractual terms and financial situation (ministry didn’t pay contractors their due payments, by that we are forced to adopt our site activities/programme accordingly to fit with cash flow).
•Ensure optimization of manpower and equipment at all times
•Preparing periodic reports with respect to the activities and achievements to be submitted to the area manager for review.
•Project Challenges: Lack of borrow pit materials, Swampy area (about 15 KM), local community force to employ extra manpower, road crossing plenty communities/kingdoms and triples.

Project: North South Carrier pipe line (NSC2.1) - EPC project
Location: Botswana
Contract Value: 140 M US$
North south carrier project (NSC2.1)-EPC project, water transfer project aimed to supplement the existing water supply to urban, rural and industrial areas within eastern Botswana. Total length approx. 88 km, carbon steel internally and externally coated dia 48 inches, with a fiber optic cable till Gaborone (approx. 350KM). 220 Nos Air valves chambers and 61 Nos scour chambers, with maintenance road, rail ways and river crossings along pipeline. Main Duties:
•Civil activities along the pipeline from Morolane BPT to Palapye BPT, earth works and air valve chambers, road and river crossings to ensure work done as per specifications and required codes and within the project budget.
•Ensure that construction plans meets the planed schedule, and work done meets safety requirements and Botswana local regulations.
•Interpret and review survey and civil design works/interfaces along pipe line and raise a SQ for designer.
•Conduct environmental impact studies for the execution of the pipeline and prepare method of statements for civil activities.
•Review construction drawings and raise the necessary site queries for any clashes and/or technical problems along with proposal for the consultant for approval.
•Project Challenges: Botswana laws for acquiring borrow pits and environmental impacts, screening of borrow pit materials.

Road with total length of 63.7 KM, upgraded to bitumen standards with 7 Nos huge cell structures, stabilized sub-base and double surface dressing road, along with road furniture’s(road marking, signs ..etc). Main Duties:
•Establish and monitor construction works and ensure construction schedules are met as per planned milestones.
•Prepare progress reports, method of statements and issue progress schedules to the project Manager
•Supervise subcontractors and subordinate staff and ensure subcontract work done as per specification and norms.
•Develop construction specifications and procedure (Preparing risk assessment, method of statements ...etc.)
•Closing the snag list after getting the “Take Over Certificate” and ensure all documents pertaining quality procedures and material testing are met as per condition of contract (turn-key project).
•Project Challenges: First project for CCC in Tanzania, high quality standard, lack of spare parts, Diesel theft, lack of water source for construction works, lack of sub-base borrow pits for stabilizations, communication with locals(90% speak Swahili only, few of them speak English), time restriction to handover project, strict safety & environmental procedures(ESMP).

•Interpret, review and approve survey and civil/road design works in line with specifications and design manuals.
•Ensure construction plans meets guidelines and specifications for road codes and other regulations.
•Project challenges: swampy areas, materials availability (especially base course), local communities’ interference.

•Prepare the interim payment certificate for the project and monthly progress report to MOA.
•Project Challenges was (no room for diversion in many section, working in the busiest part of Ibadan city, no as built drawings for the existing infrastructure services as they have constructed long time ago and no records with the ministry only guide lines drawings, availability of materials (borrow pits and base course far away from site).
•Achievements: project was handed over and inaugurated by the Oyo governor ahead of schedule

The project was classified as the largest Mall in the world. Main duties as below:
•Plan, organize, direct and control construction activities at Mall D ground floor which is consists of gold souk, grove area, and ice rink in addition to the snagging at DCP bldg.
•Plan /schedule own work priorities and activities in line with the project plans and construction schedules.
•Coordination with all subcontractors in charged at my area and gets the necessary MEP releases, logistic and construction support.
•Interpret and review civil design and raise any conflict to the consultant thru site query.
•Attend progress, workshop/technical and safety meetings held with the consultant/sub-contractors and other related parties.
•Assigned as “Kidzania Manager” for the last six months, to construct “Dubai Kidzania” at Dubai Mall entertainment center. Kidzania is a child-sized replica of a real city with streets, buildings, retail and vehicles.
•Challenges: Mega building project, Subcontractors and coordination, time restriction to handover the project to EMAAR.
•Achievements: Gold souk and grove area was handed over to Emaar ahead of schedule.

Project consisted out of the world's largest aircraft hangar to maintain the total fleet of the Royal family of Dubai, capable of housing two A380 Airbus, Boeing 747, two C130 Hercules planes, various smaller aircraft(737 and gulf stream) and the full helicopter wings, as well as Royal Terminal, GSE centre and horse loading facility. Main duties as below:
•In charged for concrete and finishing works at Hangars and admin building ground and first floor, activities included: block works, plaster, dry walls, tiles, vinyl tiles, paint, ironmongeries & shutter doors.
•Ensure site activities are running as per planned schedule and within project budget.
•Confer with consultant and other engineering team to determine project requirements and resolve technical conflicts/clashes on site.
•Supervise and organize for the project demobilization, punch-list and snagging during liability period (turn-key project).
•Project Challenges: Fast track project, work with most of finishing materials /activities with royal quality. High standards and royal specifications.

One of the largest oil and gas projects; consisting of two main plants (KPC and Unit2), infield, pipe line with 600KM long with 32 Block valve stations, and terminal bldg at Atyrau city. Work at contract and sub-contract department.
• Prepare cost estimate for the abortive works done on site (SI’s & SQ’s) at KPC area, as well as MTO and QS.
• Negotiate and analysis variation notices and claims (two major claims for CAPE and WEATHERFORD s/c).
• Prepare contract documents and review and evaluate tender for subcontract construction works at block valve stations along pipeline and resolve any technical problems related to the sub-contract works.
• Last year was working as subcontract administrator, preparing payment certificates and comparison sheets for all S/C’s at KPC.
• Project Challenges: new area/ language and weather restriction (winter -45 C), Mega project for oil & gas. First project for CCC in Kazakhstan. New language(Russian and Kazakh)
