Project: Aberdeen Harbour Expansion Project (AHEP) - The Aberdeen Harbour Expansion Project is a new harbor facility to complement and expand the capabilities of the existing Aberdeen harbor facilities. The new facilities will include 1, 400m of new quay, with a water depth of up to 10.5m and will create an additional 125, 000m2 of lay-down area (£300M).
Role: Responsible to procure, contract and manage large variety of packages. Support the operations team in commercial related subjects.

Project: Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route (AWPR) - The Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route is a new road being developed to improve travel in and around Aberdeen and North-East Scotland. The AWPR/B-T will consist mainly of a new two-lane dual carriageway in each direction. Three lanes will operate for a short section (£530M).
Role: Responsible for the commercial management of 28 Structures and 24 Culverts
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce and analyze contractual documentation
• Produce Cost Reports, CVR’s & Cost to Complete
• Analyze and control costs in the site
• Liaison, negotiation and management of subcontractors and suppliers
• Identify Commercial Risks to Works and Contract
Added Value / Achievement:
Presented an accurate cost to complete that allowed to create, define and walk over a success strategy
Produced and presented detailed reports to the Board Members showing the performance in terms of planning, cost and value.
Project: Transrhumel Viaduct & Access - Cable-stayed Bridge 749m long and approach viaducts 360m. The height of the pillars is 130m and the width of the deck 27.34m as a dual carriageway, with 8km of access roads in a motorway profile (~$400M).
Role: Responsible for the commercial management of the works.

Produce Reports: Produced and presented detailed reports to the Board Members showing the performance in terms of planning, cost and value.

• Responsible for implementation and management of Lean Construction System in the site
Added Value / Achievement:
Producing costs to complete - Doing an analysis of the expected end of life cost for each activity allowed to choose a better strategy for the execution of the works. Better information meant better strategy that reflected in more quality with more optimized costs and planning.
Quantify additional works to the contract - Carried out studies and analyses to quantify works that weren’t in the initial contract. This initiated successful negotiations between the contractor and the client to close a contract for this works.
Lean Construction System - Carried out analyses to manage and improve construction processes and methodologies. Results surpassed in 18%.
Project: Doha Metro Project, Golden Line & Major Stations Packages - The project will be an essential part of the Qatar Rail Network that involves long-distance rail for passengers and freight, linking Qatar to the GCC, and Lusail's city local light rail transit (LRT). Key structures being built are viaduct segmental bridge and underground tunnels (TBM).
Role: Responsible for preparation of tender documentation
Key Responsibilities:
• Analysis of tendering procedures and project
• Measurement of quantities from the Designer drawings
• Preparation of bill of quantities
• Procurement
• Rate analysis and pricing comparisons
• Prepare detailed cost estimates
• Assist planning team
Added Value / Achievement:
Responsible for procurement strategy develop relationships with suppliers/subcontractors that allowed to have a competitive tender.
Role: Assist and support the Bid Manager to ensure accurate and competitive estimates for new tenders and bid opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Created and produced compliant bid documentation
• Prepared method of statements and tender programs and calculated resources needs (labour, plant and materials)
• Prepared estimates of direct and indirect costs of the works
• Responsible for the procurement of materials and subcontractors in tender phase
Added Value / Achievement:
During this period the team completed several successful pre-qualification to tender and several tenders in various fields of construction and countries.

Successful tenders abroad: EPC Construction Camp - Sonaref Refinery Project (Angola - 99.5M$USD), Voires de EWO (Congo - 37M€), Eastern Corridor (Ghana - 290M$USD), Moamba-Major Dam (Mozambique - 500M$USD)
