Manages the operation and maintenance of 10 tons per hour containerized feed mill equipments, 5 tons/hr horizontal feed mill equipments, 5 tons per hour flaking equipments, 2 lines of 5 tons/hr flaking equipments and 5 tons/hr course mixing equipments involving electrical, mechanical and plumbing system, instrumentation and control system, process automation (PROFIBUS, SCADA, PLC, VFD, Electro-Pneumatics and Conventional Control).

Ensure that all plant and machinery are maintained at all times by engaging and managing the maintenance team and there is no production loss due to poor maintenance.

Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and PID piping/process and instrument diagrams to facilitate troubleshooting.

Planned and enforce annual maintenance budget.

Manage maintenance department costs within
budgetary guidelines.

Provide operation plan register of maintenance personnel with their duties and responsibilities.

Record keeping as required by company Quality Manual

Make comprehensive annual preventative maintenance program of all factory equipment’s, buildings and facilities.

Assign and prioritize daily work list for maintenance staff.

Meet with the Production Shift Supervisor on a daily basis to plan maintenance in accordance with production requirements.

Evaluate and select specialist maintenance company for annual maintenance contract of boiler and air compressor.

Monitor and request materials, spare parts and consumables to ensure that appropriate inventory levels for standard replacement parts and consumables are maintained.

Ensure that the maintenance workshop is adequately equipped with the right tools and equipment needed for maintenance.

Ensure safety of the feed by regular cleaning and preventing contamination by identifying weak points in the system.

Ensure the annual calibration of key plant equipment’s from third party certification to ensure proper feedback and available for audit.

Identify what part of the plant requires additional work and necessary improvement.

Examine factory equipment’s and reviewing maintenance records to ensure that equipment has been installed and maintained according to prescribed practices and manufacturers’ recommendations so that production quality is not jeopardized by machinery malfunctions.

Reviews production, quality control, maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities.

Provide technical support and training to the maintenance team for efficient troubleshooting and maintenance repair to maximize efficiencies and limit downtime.

Drive employee engagement, training and development to maximize manufacturing, quality, safety and productivity goal attainment.

Responsible to eliminate all causes of failure and ensure full useful life in coordination with daily maintenance completed by operating personnel.

• Manages the repair, maintenance and operation of electrical, mechanical, process automation, instrumentation and control, refrigeration and air conditioning system of 6, 000 birds per hour poultry processing plant equipments, 2 units of chilling tunnels and 3000 tons 6 cold storage rooms’ equipments.

• Manages and prepare comprehensive annual preventative maintenance program poultry processing plant equipments, chilling tunnels and 6 cold storage rooms’ equipments to assist the operation to achieve production targets.

• Manages and prepare comprehensive annual MEP, HVAC, fire alarm and fire fighting system preventative maintenance program of poultry processing plant and cold store.

• Support the company in increasing profitability by managing resources efficiently and making necessary recommendations to reduce energy costs.

• Ensure that all manufacturing and facility equipments are properly resourced and that all resources are efficiently utilized.

• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and PID piping/process and instrument diagrams to facilitate troubleshooting

• Had been assigned in checking of all electrical, mechanical, automation, instrumentation and control of all refrigeration machines and equipments in the installation and commissioning of new refrigeration plant for both Poultry Processing Plant and Cold Store to ensure the quality and function achieved the requirement of design.

 All refrigeration controls and instruments such as high and low pressure switch, oil pressure switch, flow switch, thermostat, temperature controllers, pressure controllers (regulators), pressure transmitters, RTD/PT 100 sensors and electronic capacity controller.

• Performing major services and repairs according to the equipment manual instructions.

• Examine plant equipment and reviewing maintenance records to ensure that equipment has been installed and maintained according to prescribed practices and manufacturers’ recommendations.

• Management and supervisions of refrigeration and air conditioning technicians, industrial electricians, mechanical technicians, plumbers, welders and plant operators.

• Makes overall supervision on the repair, maintenance and operation of 4, 500 tons 11 cold storage rooms and 100 tons ice plant electrical, mechanical, process automation, instrumentation and control and refrigeration and air conditioning system equipments.

• Manages and prepare comprehensive annual preventative maintenance program of 4, 500 tons 11 cold storage rooms, 100 tons ice plant and fire alarm and fire fighting system.

 All refrigeration controls and instruments such as high and low pressure switch, oil pressure switch, flow switch, thermostat, temperature controllers/indicators, pressure controllers, pressure transmitters and RTD/PT 100 sensors.

• Supervises refrigeration technicians, industrial electricians, plant operators, brine men and stockmen.

• Performing electrical, mechanical, automation, instrumentation and control troubleshooting of all units.

• Performing calibration of differential pressure transmitter, pressure transmitter, temperature transmitter, temperature controller/indicator.

• Analyzes data such as operating pressure and temperature and causes of abnormality.

• Performing major services and repairs according to the equipment manual instructions.

• Request all necessary materials and consumables needed for repair and maintenance of equipments.

• Performed calculations in works requiring engineering calculations and application of engineering principles.

• Responsible in planning and scheduling maintenance.

• Responsible in preparing and submitting compressor monitoring sheet, daily activities report, duty acceptance report, ice production report and other paper works maintained.

• Analyzed data recorded in the monitoring sheet and recommend improvements for any abnormal values and trends results.

• Submitted report and discussed to the Chief of Operation all electrical, mechanical, automation, instrumentation and control and air conditioning and refrigeration concerns.

• Generally, responsible to the overall condition of the cold storage and ice plant electrical, mechanical, process automation, instrumentation and control of all equipments.

• Plans, controls and manages stock movement of all full goods and empty containers to meet requirements of sales in the Sales office.

• Attends to daily beginning inventory and ensures the proper figures are reported to the Plant thru SAP Systems, Applications, Products in Data Processing

• Review documentation for receipt of full goods from and shipments of empties to the plant compare manual incoming stocks versus SAP document.

• Prepares and compares manual daily sales and stock reports to SAP stock balance report for control purposes.

• Reports to my immediate superior Sales Office In-Charge all Sales office related activities and concerns.

• Perform other duties and functions such as Safety, Health, Environment and Security.

• Performed routine preventive and corrective maintenance on all instruments, electrical and mechanical equipments.

• Had been assigned in electrical, mechanical, process automation, instrumentation and control troubleshooting.

• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams diagrams to facilitate troubleshooting.

• Replacing defective circuit breakers, magnetic contactors and relays of motor starters such as across the line, star delta and forward-reverse starters.

• Maintenance of fire alarm and fire fighting system.

• Checking motor winding, testing and mounting of electric motors.

• Had been assigned in installing and mounting of extra lightings, 3 way and 4 way switches.

• Responsible in testing and maintenance of refrigeration compressor motors.

• Check the generator oil level, fuel and battery and perform start up weekly for warm up.

• Monitored and recorded the operating parameters of generator such as KW, KVAR, KVA, phase current and voltage, rpm, frequency and oil temperature during operation.

• Interprets and analyzed the operating parameters recorded in the monitoring sheet of generator.

• Coordinates with other departments regarding power change over and abnormal utilities supply

• Conduct routine inspection of equipments and auxiliaries such as refrigeration system, blowers, water pumps, air compressors and all electrical equipments.

• Perform corrective measures for abnormal machine operation and recommend improvements for any abnormal values and trends results.
