* Conducting regular PM for all hydraulic systems & centralized lubrication system including graphite lubrication &
centralized grease systems and high pressure descaling systems
* All Mechanical equipment erection and commissioning like piercer mill & FQM & sizing mill.
* Trouble shooting during operation with minimum down time.
* Corrective action during week down day.
* Spare parts planning & procurement and inspection.
* Shutdown planning etc.
* Represent EMS focal point for Maintenance & Jesco Lead auditor.
Giving technical & trouble shooting support to DR plant, Steel plant, Cold mill complex, HRM, long product and
flat product, section and bar mill, Rod mill product hydraulic related problem.
* Conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) studies for any repeated hydraulic and also mechanical gear box failures.
Drafting recommendations.
* Providing a professional reliability engineering service to maximize plant availability and avoid unexpected
delays. With the help of condition monitoring group consists of vibration monitoring & analysis, infrared
Thermography analysis, laser alignment, and corrosion monitoring equipment.
* Well-equipped tribology lab to analyze oil and grease.
Plate & Coil Mill Division, India
* Responsible for handling project work of Hydraulics & Lubrication of 4500 mm wide Plate & Coil Mill; involved
from the grass root level of PLATE &COIL Mill project discussion that contains basic engineering for HYDRAULIC
and Lubrication System with consultants.
* Performing basic & detail engineering in hydraulic system for Finishing Mill Auxiliary & Servo System, Down
Coiler, Coiler Furnace, Crop Shear, Edger, Pre- Leveler, Hot Leveler, Rocking Shear.
* Actively involved in performing basic and detail engineering with SVAI U.K in Lubrication System for Morgoil
system, Screw Down System, 5.5 M.W Motor Lubrication System With Pre-Jacking System, Edger, Coiler
Furnace, Pinch Roll, Down Coiler, Pre-leveller, Hotleveller and Rocking Shear.
* Successfully handled major vendors like Bosch Rexroth, Eaton (Vickers), Parker, Yuken, Denison, Linde, Dan Foss,
Dan Saier, Haggulands, Hydac, Pall, Internorman, Instruments Vendors Ifm, Hydac, Kobold, Forbes Marshall, etc.
* Closely interacted with Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical & Operation Department.
* Played a major role in checking and modification of civil drawing according to requirement for HYDRAULIC &
LUBRICATION System.
* Instrumental in performing brainstorm in designing AGC cylinder to suit the mill stand; involved in servicing and
repairing of old hydraulic and lubrication equipments and system received from POSCO Korea and also Lendis
Roll Grinding Machine.
On call basis trouble shooting all type of Hydraulic Problems on site of various industries.
* Well versed with different application of Hydraulics Systems such as Plastic Molding Machine, Power Presses,
Heavy Equipment like Mobile Cranes and Forklifts.
* Hands on experience on Vickers and Yuken brands.
