• Shut down involves Dismantling and Installation of LP bundles, Dry gas seal assembly, Installation of UP grade HP compressors.
• Base line NDE inspection (PAUT, FPT, UT thickness mapping, MT, VT) and PMI involved in LP buddle, diffusers, Casing, Nozzles, etc.
• Installation Inspection of equipments assembly, and Auxiliary equipment and related piping modification, welding inspection.
• Pre alignment Inspection, master alignment check, Anchor bolt tightening check, lube oil filling and flushing check,
• Final alignment of couplings,
• Final mechanical completion check.
• Installation of lube oil skid,
• Mechanical Running Test ( running test, full load test )
Working as a company inspector and involving in following activities
• Internal inspection of newly constructed pressure vessels, exchangers and conducting stage inspection during fabrication
• Reviewing the design calculations for pressure vessels and piping
• Conducting meeting with vendor for fixing the hold-points for stage-wise inspection and reviewing vendor reports
• Material inspection of piping and plates for fabrication
• Supervising the quality control activities during welding fabrication of piping, tanks.
• Witnessing and reviewing the Pneumatic test and hydro test for piping systems
• Internal inspection and stage inspection of tanks during fabrication, pressure vessels.
• Witnessing the pneumatic test for tanks RF pads and support clits
• Reviewing NDT report for welding of piping and for tanks
• Reviewing WPS, PQR as per ASME SEC-IX
• Welder qualifications and reviewing records for fabrication jobs
• Walk-through inspection and raising punch-points for modification
• Ensure all static equipment for long term integrity and reliability is safe and available for uninterrupted operation.
• Determination of Inspection Schedules, develop work scope and inspection of plant equipment such as Furnaces/Heaters, Boilers, Pressure Vessels, Columns, Reactors, Heat Exchangers (Finfan, shell and tube type), Storage Tanks, Safety Relief Valves, Line work, etc that are due for Inspection during shutdown/on-stream.
• Coordinate with NDT Inspection crews, evaluate NDT results, report the findings along with the recommendations for further action, and record the Inspection history .
• Selection of Integrity Monitoring Points (Selective/Optimum Inspection) for Inspection during operation to assure long term plant Integrity and Reliability
• Assist Sr. Inspection Engineer in selecting plant items to be ranked in certain criticality classes in accordance with the corrosion loop, and monitored history as extreme/high/medium/low/very low criticality.
• Review the Plant Equipment Inspection intervals based on the criticality in accordance with the Plant Integrity Assurance Manual (PIAM).
• To Inspect/Witness Hydrostatic Pressure Test for strength/leak of plant equipment/line-work in accordance with relevant Code or Standard.
• Coordinate with Specialist Inspection Engineers during shutdown and as a part of Inspection work, organize NDT work during shutdown, and follow up of the outstanding recommendations.
Inspection of static equipments (Pressure Vessel, columns and Heat exchanger) for on- stream and off - stream and Welding, Painting, Hydro testing and Piping for Petrochemical Plant, Gas Plant, Refinery Piping. Also,
