•Audit: Prepare the documents needed for our external auditor (Talal Abu ghazaleh), and our internal auditor from the HQ as well, and follow up with them along the audit process.
•Tax: follow up with our tax consultant to finalize all our tax issues.
•Financial statements and reporting: Prepare the annual financial statement and send it to our Local external auditor in Jordan, and to our internal auditor at the HQ. Also follow up on the reports that should be submitted to the relevant ministries.
•Budget: Prepare the monthly budget report for the coordination and the projects, analyze the difference between the actual and the planned, discuss the analysis with the projects coordinators, and assist the finance coordinator in conducting the annual budget revise if it’s needed by the end of the first and the second quarters.
•Compliance: always making sure that we are in compliance with the country laws and regulations regarding finance and payments and also in compliance with our internal policies and procedures.
•Team Management: Directly managing two finance Assistants in the Coordination (Line Manager) Plan their activities, set and monitor performance objectives, and conduct formal evaluations for them. And indirectly managing three Finance assistants among our projects in Jordan (Technical Manager), and also plan their activities and participate in their evaluations.
In addition to carrying field visits to support the staff in the fields.
•Training: conducting workshops and finance training to the department and the projects staff when there is a need for any support or refreshment, also to other department’s staff when there are some guidelines they have to know about finance.
•Reporting to: the Finance Coordinator in Amman, and to the Finance /field Management in the HQ - depends on the task.
