* Makeinspection of the yard to identify sub-standard practice/ acts, equipment and potential
hazards; reports such findings and forward recommendations to the Yard Manager and
respective Superintendent concerned
* Emphasize and enforce the use of protective equipment, and determine the type of
equipment to be purchased and used
* Assist in the annual safety audit
* Assist supervisors to carry out accident and injuryinvestigations
