The Central Administration of Statistics in Lebanon in collaboration with the International
Labour organization launched the Labour Force and Households’ Living Conditions Survey funded
by the European Union.
Accomplishments and Tasks:
• Focal Person and Monitoring officer of human and financial resources for all survey staff and
providing technical, operational and administrative advice and alternatives as and where
needed;
• Responsible for financial reporting to senior management and partners;
• Responsible for quality assurance and validation of all progress reports and monthly
invoices;
• Overseer of full compliance of Survey implementation processes to ILO rules and
regulations;
• Administering payroll and maintaining employee records;
• Administering and adjusting division of tasks;
• Preparing ToRs, preparing trainings (RFQs, admin, etc.);
• Drafting Work Plans and activity timelines;
• Day to day coordination with partners and project officials;
• Providing strategic solutions to problems and challenges faced by survey staff;
• Leading on staff recruitment process, i.e. developing job descriptions and candidate
specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, short listing, interviewing
and selecting candidates;
Forecasting and managing office finances and client subscriptions;
• Setting monthly class schedules and coordinating same with trainers;
• Ensuring that all operations are occurring as per schedule;
• Preparing monthly employee reports;
• Managing social media accounts for the club;
• Managing the gym’s day to day activities;
• Resolving customer complaints;
• Developing and executing marketing programs and general business solutions resulting in
increased company exposure, customer traffic, and sales;
• Assisting new members and providing facility tours and consultation;
• Preparing annual Income Statements
As an Intern, I worked across different functions within Central Bank of Lebanon to gain a better
understanding of established processes. It involved me working closely with the licensing
department, Establishing and verifying criteria for license issues across financial institutions
within the region.
The latter half of my internship required me to spearhead negotiation deals with the sales team
Establishing tables of accounts, and assigning entries to proper accounts;
