• Responsible for planning, management, execution of Rigging / heavy lifts, transportation, construction site equipment erection / maintenance on Brown Field and Green Field projects. Experience with oversize loads, determining crane requirements, selection of rigging tackles and supervise all rigging and heavy lift operations as well as manage the site as a site In charge.
• To prepare/develop Rigging Studies/Rigging Plan on AutoCAD and on client’s formats for heavy/complex/critical lifts to determine the capacity of a crane, to perform a correct crane positioning as per site conditions, get approval from client and practically perform the lifting activity at site as per approved lifting / rigging plan, method statement and JSA.
• To prepare Method Statement, JSA, risk assessment for execution of heavy /complex/critical lifts and installation of equipment’s, maintenance of equipments at site.
• Responsible for implementation of approved rigging plans and method statements in the field, working craft supervision and subcontract management to ensure proper rigging practices are used in rigging operations and also prepares the rigging studies/Rigging Plans in consideration of the load charts and crane designs according to criticality of job.
• To visit different sites (Live plants, construction sites) and estimate crane requirements and coordinate with the bidding department for estimation purpose.
• Maintain proper signals in actual lifting engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety of workers, material handled, using hand signal or radio and regularly attend safety meetings with client.
• Coordinate with procurement team to procure proper rigging /lifting tools, equipment such as wire rope slings, webbing slings, chain blocks, shackles etc. which are needed for the rigging activity.
• Able to read and interpret plans and drawings, determine the Centre of gravity of a load, perform basic calculations regarding ground bearing pressures and calculations for the selection of rigging tackles.
• Erection of Gas Phase Reactors (500 Ton), Loop Reactors, Column, Silos, Purge Bin, KO Drum, Gas Turbines, Compressors, Pumps, Separator, Coolers, Generators etc. using ALJABER and ALFARIS Heavy Lift Cranes i.e.DEMAG CC8800-1250 Ton, DEMAG CC2500-450 Ton crane, LR 1600/2 - 600 Ton Crane and 500 Ton Crane.
• Working experience with different cranes ( Crawler and Mobile Cranes) like 1250Ton, 1200Ton, 600 Ton, 500 Ton, 450 Ton, 280 Ton, 250 Ton, 150 Ton, 100 Ton, 50 Ton.
• Promote job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately. Regularly participate in HSE meetings, toolbox talks, and daily jobsite walks.

• To supervise the supervisors, foremen, work crews in all activities regarding rigging and equipment erection work of the project.
• Maintain log for equipment’s used at project/ site / plant.
• Examine routine care and maintenance, fault analysis and safety of the machines.
• To prepare and comply one month look-ahead plan in coordination with planning and construction departments. Responsible for the completion of discipline activities within schedule and budget requirements
• Supervision of lifting activities, visually check the equipment and equipment certificates, riggers, crane operator 3rd party and crane operator valid license and responsible to execute the activity as per plan. Has responsibility to take decisions relating to allocated work scope to ensure completion to schedule, quality and budget.
• Supervises the safe assembly and de-assembly of cranes at site, mark the area required for assembly/de-assembly of cranes.
• Ensures project execution is done according to technical execution plan/lifting or transport plan/contractual scope/site conditions.
• Selection of cranes and rigging gears for the lifting and erection of heavy / light equipment.
• Calculate ground bearing pressure, good command to study the load charts of cranes and safety requirements.
