1. Preparation of quality related submittals like Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) for approvals in close co-ordination with consultant/client QC personnel.
2. Monitoring of all site works are as per approved method statements & risk assessments.
3. Daily Inspections on site including incoming & installation inspections & preparing weekly QC reports.
4. Conducting Inspections with client/consultant QC representatives in accordance with approved ITPs.
5. Raising Material Inspection Requests (MIR) & Work Inspection Requests (WIR) & follow up till the approval.
6. Issuing Site Observation Reports (SORs) to the concerned team not working as per Project Quality Standards.
7. Obtaining Work Clearances from the main contractor for the installations to be done.
8. Liaising with planning department for approved/handed over installations for billing purposes.
9. Preparation of Observation Logs, MIR Logs, WIR Logs, Rejection Logs for adequate action & followups.
10. Monitoring post-installation tests for the facade units as per contract like Water Leakage Test, Air Leakage Test, Structural Tests etc.
11. Preparation of Post-Installation QC documents for client like Warranty & Guarantee Certificates & Test Reports
1. Development, Implementation & Monitoring of Integrated Management System including ISO 9001-2015, ISO 14001-2015 & OHSAS 18001-2007 (Now ISO 45001).
2. Conducting Internal Audits according for ISO 9001-2015, ISO 14001-2015 & ISO 45001.
3. Inspection & Testing of Aluminum facade systems during fabrication (Incoming Inspection, Process Inspection & Final Inspection) for installation in High rise commercial & residential buildings.
4. Co-ordination with projects department in fabrication & installation of mock-ups.
5. Preparation of Method Statements, Risk Assessments & HSE Plans for client approvals.
6. Raising Observation Reports & Non Conformity Reports (NCRs) and follow up for their timely closure with corrective &/or preventive actions (CAR/PAR).
7. Rejection Control & Handling of Customer Complaints.
8. Targeting customer satisfaction through exceeding the customer needs & customer feedback.
o Fabrication & erection of steel structures, heavy pipelines & pressure vessels.
o Inspection & thickness/condition monitoring of steel structures, heavy pipelines & pressure vessels.
o Preparation, implementation & monitoring of Inspection & Testing Plans (ITPs).
o Before, During & After welding inspection according to the provided approved WPS.
o Witnessing Welding Procedure Qualifications, Welder Performance Qualifications and reviewing their records.
o Monitoring NDT activities according to the provided standards, drawings & codes.
o Evaluation of NDT results & interpretation of UT & RT reports.
o Preparing and monitoring the hydrostatic testing procedure of pipe line. (Pigging, Filling, Stabilization, Dewatering, Drying, Commissioning).
o Fabrication & erection of different elevated platforms, canopies, portable offices & large scale storage sheds for different sites & facilities.
o Responsible for safety & procedures training of welders & operators.
o Fabrication of cooling water & process water pipelines for Production department - utilities section.
o Preparation, implementation & monitoring of all QMS documentation like SOPs & WIs for ISO 9001~2008.
o Monitor Consumable handling, storage, return log book, baking log book & preparation of BOQs.
o Meeting up quality targets, daily inspection & monitoring of Direct Reduced Iron (DRI).
o Monitoring & implementation of the Quality Control policies & plans, according to Quality Control Manual.
o Incoming material inspection i.e. Pipes, I Beams, Equipment Parts etc.
o Co-ordination with DRI laboratory to check the quality during process & during storage.
o Monitor DRI storage conditions in co-ordination with stores department.
o Passivation of DRI & ensuring safe handling conditions of DRI, avoiding fire hazards.
o DRI rejection control & monitoring, dealing with customer complaints & implement necessary remedies to avoid sales returns.
Moreover, I with my team worked pro-efficiently during commissioning & erection phase of first DRI plant of Pakistan & handed over the plant to operations department one month before our given deadlines as our remarkable achievement.
