PRODUCTION OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT
As a production manager, I make sure goods and services are produced safely, cost-effectively and on time and that they meet the required quality standards and increase the satisfaction level of our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities:
As a production manager, I have to:
Look after production schedules along with the upstream and downstream activities of operations
decide and order the resources that are required and ensure stock levels remain adequate
ensure that the production will be cost effective by estimating costs and negotiating and agreeing budgets with both clients and managers
monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed
monitor productivity rates and product standards and implement quality control programs
organize and look after maintenance team for availability of equipment.
liaise with different departments, teams and companies, e.g. suppliers, managers, clients
ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times
ensure OTIF and quality standards are met
work with managers to implement the company's policies and goals
collate and analyze data, putting together production reports for both factory managers and customers
supervise and motivate a team of subordinates and workers.
review worker performance and identify training needs.
align dispatch team to make logistics arrangements and delivery of product with responsibility.
Work with close coordination with sales team to meet Customer Service level.
ensure compliance of company policies
facilitate and conduct audits with internal and external audit teams.
Responsibilities:
To prepare BOM & BOQ of mechanical structures.
To prepare quotations and interact with the customers & clients.
To prepare tenders and interact with sales teams of customers.
To plan the fabrication/erection projects.
To implement monitoring and control on projects.
To prepare activity plan along with the timelines (Gantt chart, MS Project).
To interact with suppliers and vendors.
To monitor and dealing with work of outside contractors.
To audit activities as per TPM pillars.
To provide CAD solutions

At PECS (i) Study Drawing of different Mechanical parts. (ii) To study the working of different machine tools and molding machines. (iii) To check how quality of a product is maintained.
