- Coordinate the organization of the handbook testing workshops with the key implementing partner, the National Centre for Judicial Studies;
- Support the elaboration of the diagnostic on the application of ILS, in close collaboration with the ILO Cairo STANDARDS Specialist;
- Support the organization of Parliament briefing sessions on ILS;
- Support the organization of media professionals training on ILS in Cairo; and
- Maintain communication with the project partners from relevant Ministries such as the
Ministry of Manpower, the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, and the Ministry of Justice;
Working as an analyst for the General Secretariat of League of Arab States -
Crisis Room.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a daily brief regarding the Yemen Crisis.
- Prepare informational and analytical reports to the Secretary General regarding
regional and international crisis.
- Participate in developing the LAS Operational Capacity Building training
programs.
Working for the General Secretariat of League of Arab States - Legal Affairs Sector.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Legal opinions and researches in various branches of public international law, International Humanitarian Law, Human rights and administrative legal issues.
- Revise and suggest drafts of agreements, treaties, MOUs and contracts.
- Participate in Legislative Committees and assist in drafting model Arab Laws.
- Participate in and prepare for meetings, workshops, seminars and conferences.
- The legal sector desk officer for the work of the high level committee regarding the establishment of the Joint Arab military Force (participated in drafting of the required protocol).
