Duties:
• Coordinate and follow up; operation, maintenance, and repair activities to obtain optimum utilization of mechanical equipment, also supervise construction projects.
• Establish the project resources planning to gain optimum use of an organization`s most valuable asset by identifying the project demand of facilities and labor, analyzing utilization and requirements.
• Monitor and commission mechanical plants to improve operational effectiveness and
reliability and recommend modifications.
• Develop; coordinate all aspects of preparing material, including selection of mechanical machines.
• Design mechanical systems, equipment and plants.
• Undertake effective planning and prioritization of workload wherever necessary to ensure that resources are used to optimum effect and organizing mechanical team to make sure 24- hour cover is available.
Achievement:
Project engineer for modification, retro-commissioning works, tender preparation and evaluation: o Replacement of AHU/FCU for many buildings in the campus. o Upgrading of Animal research lab Facility to gain the international accreditation. o Integrity test for FM200 rooms in the research complex building. o LEED O&M for 3 buildings in the Campus. o Participating in hanging over stage for many educational building projects.
Duties:
o Carries out of HVAC works: drawings, calculations, selection programs and building simulation, preparation of technical reports, bills of quantities, cost estimation and tender documents. o HVAC trainer in UTW (university to work) for new graduate students. o Coordinator for LEED projects (Guidance and documentation).
Achievement:
Participate in HVAC system design and produce of tenders document for the many projects: 2 VRV systems project, 3 District cooling projects, 2 Absorption Chiller projects, 2 Water Cooled Chiller projects, 6 Air Cooled Chiller projects & 4 Package Units projects.
• 2 LEED projects as follow:
• Detailed design for CREDIT AGRICOLE head office (LEED NC GOLD V.3)
• Maadi Contact Center Business Park, Cairo. (LEED NC SILVER V.3)
Design & Preparation of B.O.Q, Shop drawing, as-built drawings production and reviewing of all mechanical tenders document.
Achievement:
Shared in redesign and supervise the mechanical system and produce of shop drawings for many projects: 3 Pharmaceutical Industries, 3 Electrical Substations, 4 Factories & 1 hospital.
