- Plan, monitor and execute sourcing functions to ensure continuous and timely supply of all required products in line with the targets and objectives set by the business.
- Executing and monitoring of all regular purchasing duties (Raw Materials and Packaging Materials)
- Preparing Budget Forecast based on raw and packaging materials' price modules and futures.
- Preparing Price Variance reports monthly and quarterly with full analysis, justification and explanation.
- Negotiating for the best quotations in terms of Price v/s Quality & Terms to meet the requirements of our 4 affiliates in KSA, Lebanon, Egypt & India.
- Monitoring market trends and news in order to commit to best contracts for major food commodities (Sugar, Milk Powder, Cocoa Powder, Palm Oil, Rice Powder, Egg Powder, Potato by-Products, Etc).
- Long term contracts buying (Strategic buying).
- Sourcing & evaluating new suppliers based on the following terms (Price, Terms, Quality, Service, Capacity, Support & History).
- Implementing a KPI System for all major suppliers.
- Maintaining strongly effective suppliers' relationship.

• Executes and monitors all regular purchasing duties from local and overseas suppliers.
• Responsible for the preparation of purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Sources, selects and negotiates for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers.
• Maintains complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system.
• Monitors and co-ordinates deliveries from suppliers to ensure that all items are delivered to store on time.
• Handles claims to factories for defectives, shortage, missing parts.
• Continuous Search for new items and new Suppliers.
• Dealing with Quality Inspection Institutions to maintain delivery of high quality products.
• Controls and follows up on shipping documentation, delivery process, and clearing procedure.
• Responsible for getting the best freight rates.
• Process all trade logistics related to imports & exports to ensure that all trade activities are carried out accurately on-time.
• Coordinate on setting, reviewing & updating all info regarding stock items (Min. Stock, Lead Time, etc…) in order to ensure that it is all up to date.
• Corresponding with insurance and shipping companies in order to ensure the secure transport and delivery of the shipments to the Lebanese port.
• Following up with clearing agents at Port to clear out all purchases.
