❖ To execute the Projects, Mitsubishi Hitachi Power System (MHPS) and Mitsubishi Cooperation
(MC) formed a consortium, where the power island equipment is supplied by Mitsubishi
Hitachi Power System (MHPS) and Mitsubishi Cooperation (MC). Çalık Energy is responsible
for the general engineering works, supply of BOP equipment (Water treatment, Waste water
treatment, Water Intake Structure, Transformers, Switchyard), construction, mechanical and
electrical installation works, logistics and BOP commissioning.

My responsibilities include :

1. Assistance to project managers (follow-up their duties for both projects)
2. Coordination between departments involved in procurement process (engineering,
purchasing, finance, contract) and take action in case the process does not function to meet
project deadlines
3. Follow-up progress of the Vendors (there are over 50 different vendors for all disciplines) and
analyze performance of the Vendors with respect to project schedule

1. Management of Subcontract Agreements by maintaining coordination with other departments
2. Monitoring of site activities of the Subcontractors in accordance with their obligation under
the Contract
3. Control and recording Subcontractors’ site progress by means of leading weekly subcontractor
meetings and ensuring that required actions are taken in order to keep up with the schedule
4. On site experience for the execution of works and preparation of lessons learned
5. Supporting construction teams and creating contract awareness in teams for the executed
works at site
6. Contractual correspondence with the Subcontractors
7. Recalculation of new unit prices and costs of the Subcontract Agreements in case of changes
and revisions
8. Identification of possible Subcontractor claims and warning site management about these
incidents
9. Evaluation of Subcontractor’s claims by verifying evidence and records
10. Control and approval of Subcontract interim and final progress payment reports; ensuring that
progress payments are back-traceable and comply with contract terms.
