•Participate and contribute in the development and refinement of the vision and strategy of QTA and MICE Tourism Development Sector strategy and contribute to the overall process of management and corporate decision-making.
•Set the MICE Tourism Development performance objectives, in coordination with the Performance Management Department, and continuously monitor progress and development towards organizational and Sector strategic objectives
•Design and maintain the MICE Tourism Development framework and install best practices, methodologies, techniques and principles in the Tourism Product Development Sector.
•Provide support, advice and direction on MICE Tourism Development -related issues that have a strategic impact on the business
•Oversee the implementation of the MICE Tourism Development sector's policies and procedures in order to ensure all relevant requirements are fulfilled whilst delivering high-quality services
•Ensure the success of local and regional events, including business events and conferences organized to increase visitation and heighten regional awareness of the tourism industry in Qatar.
•Ensure the proper communication of MICE, culture tourism, urban tourism and alternative tourism investment, HR and licensing requirements to Tourism Industry Development.
•Lead the provisioning of support services to MICE organizers to ensure and optimize the success of their initiatives.
•Enhance the existing shows and exhibitions to be a world-leading heritage when it comes to Qatar's Image globally.
•Enhance the licensing procedure and licensee selection criteria.

Achievements:
1- Awarded the most prestigious Convention Centre worldwide to ELAN and Fira Bracelona Consortium (worth approx.3.6 Billion Qatari Riyal) to build 2- Launched Qatar MICE strategy
3- Launched Qatar MICE Working Group.
4- Increased number of Exhibitions per year from 33 Exhibition to 68 Exhibition
5- Increased Number of Local companies associated with international bodies such UFI, ICCA, IAPCO.
6- Released QTA 3 Main Exhibitions (DJWE, QMS and Heya Fashion Show) to the private sector
7- Helped enhancing the Exhibition Law in Qatar

I joined Enterprise Qatar (EQ) “a newly established Organization via the Emiri Decree No. 17 of the year 2011, to provide finance, training and consultancy for Small and Medium Size Enterprises within the State Qatar” as Chief Business Operation Officer in December 2011.
Being the engine of the Organization, mainly handling the day-to-day operations and the business support services, I achieved the following:
• Assisted in the formation of EQ Human Resources Committee and become an effective member and succeeded in adding new benefits that empower the employee’s performance.
• Established strategic alliance with the Ministry of Labor and succeeded in securing all required approval for the new recruiters.
• Initiated and participated in the development of EQ Equity program, Audit & Book Keeping as well as Managerial and Technical Advisory Services.
Being a solid business developer with leadership skills, I:
• Designed and established EQ - Information Technology Department and supervised the implementation of the Organization IT platform, CRM and web site.
• Assisted, in securing the partnership with Ernst & Young - Qatar and launched the Entrepreneur Of The Year Award Program for the first time in Qatar.
• I was nominated by EQ CEO to launch and implement Al Fikra, Qatar’s Business Plan Competition for the year 2012 which was under the Patronage of H.E. the Minister of Business and Trade.
• I initiated also the most suitable matchmaking platform for SME’s development (Subcontracting and Partnership Exchange Program “SPX”) after singing an MOU with the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting “GOIC” to establish EQ - SPX Center a concrete data base of 250 Small and medium industries and major Qatari buyers.
The SPX platform will facilitate the business matchmaking between suppliers and buyers through business-to-business meetings and encourage buyers to allocate a percentage of their business to local manufacturers / suppliers.
My Role with TFI was to facilitate the platform for the investor and client base to grow, by acting as conduit between the business community and the Shari’a Compliant products and Banks. My role allows investors to maximize their return through investing the well-structured funds and products and allows TFI’s business to grow and sustain a strong client base, strong reputation and strong financial base going forwards.
To many, the business development role is the first access point to TFI and is potentially the catalyst for majority of all business interactions.
As well as being responsible for equity raise for shari’a compliant real estate funds in Brazil and Russia, with commitments sought over USD 500 Million, also involved interacting with investor at smaller capital levels for dedicated single asset structure customized to their need to acquire prime and semi-prime real estate. In addition to the capital sought for existing projects, new initiatives have been created including car leasing project in KSA for more than 300 QAR, large warehousing and distribution project throughout the GCC as well as investor led initiatives through strong networks in Oman, Kuwait, KSA, Malaysia, Korea and Brazil at both institutional and private office level.
Transmission and DSNG Manager at Al Jazeera Children Channel launched in the year 2005. Through its unique concept and a range of own produced educational programs, JCC opens up avenues for Arab Children to learn about different environments and cultures, as well as encourage them to learn and seek knowledge.
During my career with JCC I was mandated to:
Develop and implement an operational system which effectively coordinates the scheduling of technical facilities necessary to support the Production, Distribution, and transmission of Broadcasts.
Maintain the transmission signal and all associated equipment and facilities.
Preserve state-of-the-art knowledge of technical requirements and equipment to ensure the broadcast unit's efficient and economical operation.
Participate in development, implementation and maintenance of policies, objectives, short-and long-range planning; develops and implements projects and programs to assist in accomplishment of established goals.
Design and plan major construction projects, undertake knowledge of laws, regulations, methods, and techniques in area of specialty.
Supervise radio communication and control.
Examine and re-engineer operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
Organize and lead Technical Workshop and manage Frequency Management Section. Engineer SMS System anticipated to the Ministry of Defence, Member into four Major Tender Committees.
